ZINUS Cooling Essential Memory Foam Mattress, Twin, White

I ordered this mattress for my new apartment and wow! I am so pleased at its quality for the price!First of all, it *looks* very nice, clean, and had no chemical-y smell (after ordering a bunch of stuff on Amazon for my new apartment, that last thing was a very welcome surprise). It came rolled-up in a vacuum-sealed plastic pouch in a tall skinny box. (The box was very heavy to move, if that's something you're concerned about). Once I cut open the plastic, the mattress inflated and boom! It was ready to use!The mattress is *quite* plush. (Maybe even too plush if that's something you don't like. The memory foam is very obviously there.) Still, it's been quite comfortable during these first few days at my apartment and it totally beats sleeping on the floor. For the price, I'm very happy with how this mattress is working.

I bought this for my five year old. I slept on it with her the first night and it was surprisingly comfortable even for my heavy body I didn’t feel like I was on the floor but it wasn’t tough either. Good quality and great price.

I bought this mattress to replace the guest bedroom mattress at my mother's house, since I have to frequently visit. Because it's not my regular bed, I didn't want to spend too much money, but I wanted something that would be supportive but also cooling. This mattress offers both features. The edges of the mattress are a little too soft, especially when you sit on the side of the bed, but that fact doesn't take away from the support the memory foam offers once one is sitting against the headboard or lying down. I toss and turn at night, and so I tried the mattress on my sides, my back, and my stomach. All positions were comfortable. I don't know how the mattress will handle more frequent use, but it's perfect for my purpose.

We had to get my son a larger bed/mattress and he had been sleeping on an Ashley Chime firm mattress (full). It was firm and had better edge support. When replacing the furniture/mattress I could tell this queen size felt a little lighter than the full size. That would indicate a less dense foam in this mattress. It doesn't have the edge support either- sitting on the side and it sinks down, a lot. But, for my teenager this has been fine. He says it feels good and he sleeps good, so a good budget mattress. It did expand all the way though you may have to fix the mattress cover on the corners so it can expand fully- it may bunch up a little or get twisted. No lingering smells. We have this on a frame with slats and you can't tell by laying on it.Please note that people complaining about lack of support are often talking about the thinnest mattress. Thicker foam = better support. If this mattress had been any more expensive it would be 3 stars.

I bought this mattress because of the reviews, but honestly almost cancelled before it arrived because I thought, "how good can a bed in a box really be?" Well, let me tell you, this did not disappoint! First of all it said it takes about 72 hours to completely decompress, but really it only took less than 10 minutes! There was NO smell and it had the perfect amount of support for me. Not too hard and not too soft. My body feels so much better and I look forward to sleeping each night now after spending the past year on a Tempur-Pedic, which was not a good mattress for me. LOVE this mattress and my niece visited for a week and slept on it as well and also loved it!

The mattress arrived ahead of schedule, with no noticeable damage to the package, and once the plastic wrapping had been removed, the bed rolled out as described. I waited 48 hours for the mattress to fully expand, and gave it a sleep test - and I was not disappointed. The combination of springs and foam provided me with the level of firmness I had been looking for, and I am very pleased with this product.

Overwhelmed by all the bed choices and the vast difference in price, I decided to buy an inexpensive bed and then add whatever topper it required because I like a soft bed.Despite the fact that I find this mattress quite firm, I have been sleeping soundly on it for more than a week without a topper. It is not a soft bed but it does yield to your weight (approx 125lb), and I will get a topper when the really hot weather passes and sinking into a soft bed is less of an issue re heat, but I'm finding it entirely comfortable as it is right now.It plumped up within 24 hours, and there was absolutely no smell from the foam. I'm 100% happy with this purchase.

It's a wonderful mattress for an excellent value!! The best mattress i've ever purchased honestly. My son sleeps well and he's rested in the morning. It contours to your body, and it's soft but still has stiffness somehow. The best mattress on the market in my opinion. Came tightly packed in a tall box and it didn't take long to inflate all the way. I had no issues with it, and with a matress protector it will be good for a long time to come. I purchased one for myself and for my mother as well that's how good the quality is, and the price is so reasonable. 1000% recommend. Your back will thank you

Very nice mattress for the money - comfortable yet light. Loved the way it came packaged and do remember that it won't be 8" right away, takes a few days for the mattress to relax as it comes rolled up tight.

I ordered a 12" mattress for both of my kids on the same day in the same order and funny enough they were shipped from two different companies but they both showed up on the same day none the less and they were packaged well. They both inflated very quickly and they are nice and soft the kids are loving them. I had a quick lay down on them and they are super comfy. They don't even have a funny smell. We are very happy with our purchase.
