5 Inch Round Orchid/Hydroponics Slotted Mesh Net Pot - 10 Pack

I can't ding the product because it didn't work out for me. (My plant that I was planning to use these for didn't grow well in the pots because it dried out the moss too quickly due to the incredible amount of airflow exposure with all the holes.) Apparently the orchid I have is supposed to like a lot of air and fir bark, but my place is incredibly dry so it dried out the material too quickly and so I went back to plastic orchid pots with holes in the bottom only.Again, if you are looking for a mesh pot, these are great as a mesh pot. Quality is great, not too flimsy, lots of holes for maximum airflow, shipping was quick.

great amount and quality for the price, but they are a little smaller than you'd think, so when in doubt, order the next larger (or two) size. I ordered them to transplant 2 orchids, but was only able to transplant 1 due to size, so should have gotten larger size. Smaller orchid is doing very well since the roots have lots of room to breath.

These are perfect for hydroponics. You can fit 6 on a regular bucket lid. They are very tough and durable. Lasted a long time. Still using them years later.

Excellent product these are not as heavy duty as others I have but are still excellent net pots and have referred them to several of my friends who also use them now !

Used in 6 Orchids for over a year. Sets inside my pots. Trimmed the tops so you cannot see the plastic. Stopped all my root rot. Allows air to the roots. Only negative is small pieces of media falls through mesh. I'm glad I found them.

I used a 5" hole say to cut a hole in a bucket top, and these net cups want to fall through because there just isn't enough of a brim to hold it up. If the brim were 1/8" wider it would be ok, but as is I have to toss them and find something different.

I like the style and hopefully in the spring when I transplant my orchid I will know more about the pots, I like to flush water mine and decorative pots often don't allow for air circulation. I am hoping these will be good for my flowers. Packaging was great and there was no damage to them. Delivery was fast !!

I shop based on price per unit, as well as functionality. These mesh pots allow more air to reach the potting medium and roots that other orchid pots that 'only' have slots, or bigger and more draining holes. I believe this design is better to avoid root rot. These pots are the least expensive per unit.I did not need 10 pots but I might eventually use them, or give them to friends. I wish Amazon had 3" pots because many orchids 'like' to be root-bound in order to bloom.
