Locking Document Security HIPAA Bag (Navy Blue)

Purchased as a notary bag. Serves its purpose, only wish the fabric was a light bit stiffer so it was easier to lock and unlock. The lock kind of flops over if you don’t have it sitting on a table. It’s a great color, and is the perfect size for what I needed.

Purchased as a gift for my step son, he is very pleased with it!

Bought two of these bags to transfer documents back and forth from the home office and the actual office. For Standard A5 8.5 x 11 documents and the file folders and loose mail. Its rare I have legal documents so I went with this smaller bag. Well the dimensions listed are pretty accurate but I found that it wasn't helpful in my decision making. The outer dimensions of the bags received are 14 5/8 x 11 1/4. The corner lock blocks about 2" of the opening and they try to make up for this by extending the end of the zipper over the corner but not enough to make up for 2". This makes putting a 1/4" stack of empty manila folders difficult to put in all at once. The quality of the bags are great and I really like the lock. I do wish I had the option to order two bags with the same locking key but I will manage. Last note is that with a little bit of a struggle I was able to shove a whole ream of paper into this bag. Getting it out was more difficult than getting it in and I did tear the corner of the ream a bit.

This bag is fairly sturdy. It has a nylon(?) zipper. You can get a full ream of 8.5"x11" paper in it, but it does require some manipulation. Because of the locking mechanism, you cannot just drop a ream in, you have to put it in a bit at a time and kind of turn it into place. Awkward at first, but easier with practice. Easier yet when your papers are in a folder. The lock is a little finicky, you have to have the zipper positioned 'just so' for it to lock, too closely zipped and it doesn't catch, but again, easier after you do it a few times. We just got them this week, so I do not know how durable they will be. It is Made in USA. Items arrived quickly and in perfect condition.

I bought this locking bag to store my notary book and stamp, but found that it’s large enough to store a receipt book and money bag, too. Everything I need to perform a mobile notary signing fits comfortably in this bag.The lock is a little tricky to figure out. Once I figured out how to properly lock the bag and zipper together, I knew I’d found the perfect bag to transport and protect my notary tools.The bag seems to be made of a heavy, durable nylon. The clear plastic/vinyl window on the front of the bag is a great place to store extra business cards. It makes it convenient for me to hand out my business cards without rummaging through a wallet or purse.If I ever need to buy another notary bag, I’d definitely buy this one again.

Just got the case and it meets my expectations which is for light duty security to keep out prying eyes and to keep an "honest" person from being unduly tempted. For any serious thief it will be easy but so would stealing the entire bag be easy. The lock is easy to use but difficult to understand when you use it for the first time. Insert the key into the lock and turn 3/4 way to raise up the locking mechanism. To lock the bag, zip it shut with the zipper pull tab facing backward towards the remaining part of the zipper. Then, clamp down on the lock (against a hard surface if needed) so it clamps the zipper shut. Your pull tab should be sticking outward, so pull it and try to open it to make sure the lock is working. Not yet sure of the durability since I just got mine. But it looks durable and waterproof.

Our office purchased these bags for each Notary Public. We all chose different colors.The bags are sturdy, feel like they will keep documents dry, and have plenty of room in the bag for a couple notary logs and the stamp.The keys went in smoothly for almost all of the bags. The green one was the most difficult and has to really be jiggled with to get it in there. I almost returned the bag because I thought the key did not work, but at the last minute, we were able to get it in. Each time I go to unlock, it takes me some patience however.You do not need the key in the lock to push down and lock the zipper.Good product so far.

I get medicine by 3 month supply and the bottles are the biggest, for all no matter the size of the pills. I purchased a smaller locking bag but it eventually became to small with the more prescriptions. This bag holds them all! I keep the key in my medicine lock box that I put smaller bottles of my medicine that I just fill back up. I firmly believe in keeping my medicine locked up and out of reach of my grandchildren and this has helped immensely. Great quality, strong, and lock open and closes without any problems.
