I love this speaker it’s so loud and compact. The best portable speaker I’ve had so far.

The speaker sounds crisp and clear especially the vocals but the bass is a bit underwhelming. For a 300 dollar speaker, I would expect the sound to be a bit more fuller. Don't get me wrong, it does sound good even at high volumes and I love listening to music on it as its the best speaker I have had for playing music but its missing a bit of fullness. Usually, you can compensate for this through equalizer settings or adjusting the speaker but the braven app for android is not available at this time so you cannot adjust it despite them saying in the product description that it is available. For IOS devices, they do have the app to adjust these settings. For android though, you are waiting till they release it. I would recommend getting this speaker but just be aware that if you are an android user, you might have to wait a bit till they release the app that allows you to adjust it to your liking.

Sound quality very good

I bought this $300 speaker over 8 months ago for one reason only, which is because it advertised an Android app. Over half a year later, there still inst an Android app. I have called the help line once every month and they can't give me any details on when they will release the app. I feel decieved. I will never but from Braven ever again.As for the speaker itself, the sounds is okay. Not worth $300.

The packaging claims the smart app is available on Google Play Store, which is not true. I called Google to make sure. You cannot link the speakers without the app.I left a voice mail and sent an email requesting help, Braven does not respond

Wow. Very well built and very nice packaging. But let us talk about the sound quality.I actually did not expect the sound and featuyfor that price to be that good. Once I turned it in and playing the music on it I was stall for a while. You can not believe how clear and deep the sound is. Most of the reviews on YouTube will not be able to give you the exact ecperiy. All the low, med and high range were crisp clear even at the highest volume. The base is so good and satisfyiycoming from the boom box desigyin on the back. The front of the speaker can be removyto see the inside speakers.One of the nicest features that if you have 2 of these then you can pair the 2 speakers together to be as one unit for surrounding system. One speaker will be the primary and the other will be the secondary Bluetooth. If you have 2 of them you do not need anymore for indoor or outdoor entertainment even for large parties.One more feature that I like is that you can use the speaker as power bank for other devices even when it is playo.Desigyis very good however the base is kind of round makes it easy to fall by a kid or so. The rubber foot at the bottom is not sticked enough and comes off easily.I would like to see in the next version more input like memory card reader and USB reader to be designed to but the USB in a secured compartment and would like to have a remote that can navigate between songs and albumyor folder.I would highly recommend this product.

This is a state of the Art Portable Bluetooth Speaker. As an Audio Engineer I am always looking for products that are portable and have great sound. What I mostly look for is an equal amount of bass and treble coming from the product. The upper range on this is beautiful, the mid range is good, but not that important and the low range is compatible with any system you could buy this size. This product does good with managing to have all three frequency ranges available! NICE!!!I usually go for a Bose Speaker, but this is very, very compatible to my Bose!! The sound is CRISP and CLEAR!!!! The volume is AMAAAAAZING!!!! If you want this unit to be LOUD --- YOU GOT IT!!! Great for outdoors and places where you will need crisp, clear and loud sound. I tested it with the volume all the way up, and there was ZERO DISTORTION! LOVE THAT!!!The packaging is exquisite. So as a gift --- this product is bar none! The box has a carrying case and a handle. While opening the box.....I kept thinking... Wow!! This product packaging is equal to the beautiful job that Apple always sleep ... sleek and a minimalist design!There is an app that you can download onto your phone. LOVE THIS!!! At Christmas time, if I wanted to lower the volume or increase the volume I just did so with my IPhone. Very convenient. You must turn on the Bluetooth button on top of the unit, and also turn on the bluetooth on your smart phone to connect it, but after that, you are good to go! When you first set it up, a voice comes on to prompt you to what to do next.The unit is HEAVY!! That is because there is a battery inside that will last for about 8 hours. I tested this quite thoroughly and it is always just about 8-9 hours.

It has great sound, I use it for eight hours and it times out twice during the day.
