Defective, disappointing, and poorly designed
I needed a small size bathtub mat, and they are harder to find. I saw this one and ordered it based on the picture, the price and the reviews. I am very disappointed in this product, and the positive reviews I read before buying. This bathtub mat is not at all comfortable. It hurts to step on it, and if you sit down, the "massage humps" are so sharp that it feels like you sat on a porcupine. Not only that, but after one use in a clean tub, there is one suction cup that is dark and discolored, like it has mold or mildew. I don't understand how that can happen after one bath? It was just delivered today, and was not like that out of the package. The large suction cups looked like they would be nice, but I found that, especially across the ends, they don't come close enough to the edge of the mat, and there is a flap of mat that you could catch your foot on if you move around in the shower. I am returning it for a refund, and have ordered a different one.

Great suction. Best mat for safety.You get used to embossed surface when you realize how safe you are.

I imagine sitting on it would be even worse.
My husband said the surface of the mat is too rough and is uncomfortable to stand on. I imagine sitting on it would be even worse.

No mildew
It prevents slippping, is a small mat and does not get a mildew buildup on the bottom. Just what I needed.

sharp, painful on my feet. Awful purchase. I threw it out rather than take the trouble to ship it back. If you over it, save the shipping materials for return.
