OldMan Que Huong Guilin Rice Vermicelli (3 Packs) (XL)

I have have been ordering this product for 2 years now. It is very good. I must bring attention to those buying it that if your looking at the carb's, the XL is 24 gms and the L is just 6 gms. So be aware of the difference.

Okay quality

In case you didn't know, rice "vermicelli" is round, unlike the usual flat kind. It's meant to be boiled before being added to the other ingredients, not soaked. It stands in for wheat noodles in dishes that would normally use pancit-style noodles.My brand of choice was Three Ladies, but these are equally good. I thought the size designation in ordering might be the size of the noodles, and apparently it is from the package, but these are the same size as Three Ladies, and after experimenting around with other types, I find this diameter to be perfect.

It is the too small for me, but the size says Medium

I love this brand of vermicelli noodles because I can purchase them in the XL size. Most of the rice noodles I find either come in thin or medium width, & this is one of the few I've found to be thicker. Holds up in stir fry & soup dishes. Nice & chewy!

what a terrible experience! I came home after a long day of work hoping to boil these vermicelli right away for dinner and at first, I found that the expiration date was printed on a sticker that was stuck to the package and not printed on the package itself (this is not a good sign but fine... this shady practice is commonly found in many asian supermarkets and I've had good experience with most of the products) but what was most disappointing was that as soon as I poured one packet of vermicelli in the boiling water, I saw dead carcasses of small bugs floating to the top. Needless to say, I had no vermicelli for dinner. This kind of quality is completely unacceptable. I do not recommend this seller and I would not order this product through amazon again.
