Headphones for Sleep Wireless Headband, Wireless Sleep Earbuds, Sleeping Scratch and Dent Machine Vise (qq)

Great vise. I own several D688 vises and I have never had an issue with them. This scratch and dent vise looked excellent, I'm not sure what made it a scratch and dent special. Years ago I had a minor issue with a D675 vise, when I contacted Kurt they had two of their VP's give me a call to rectify the situation. I was impressed with Kurts customer service, ever since then I have purchased only Kurt Vises.

What dent? What scratch? Cant seem to find the flaw that made Kurt want to sell these so deeply discounted. No matter Kurts loss is my gain. Best vise money can buy. Im happy with this product!

I purchased one of these a week ago and am purchasing another. There are some very MINOR flaws in the base casting (porosity smaller than .020"). I don't think it affects the overall performance of the vice at all.At such a steep discount I don't see how you can go wrong. I came from a 675 and I think the 688 is much better because it's a little more compact when the vise is closed. Also, it's easier to maintain than the 675 as if you do get chips on the threads just blow them off.
