Every so often I like something so much that I just got to say something. This is one of those. The flavor in this sauce is superb! You might be OK with something else, but you'll like this better. Great on sauces, steak, pork and rice. I ordered more last night.

I finally tried it and it was very good. The best part is not buying low-sodium soy sauce that still has to much salt. Great alternative.

I’ve never heard Tamari before, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Ironically it was listed as an ingredient in a hot sauce I own, so I looked up what it was and found out it was a type of soy sauce. I like soy sauce and I eat dumplings all time, so I thought I would give it a try. I did a bunch of research into it and I learned that it’s hard to get authentic Japanese Tamari in the states and the stuff that does come over is loaded with preservatives, which apparently takes away from the taste. So a couple websites said to make sure it was free of preservatives and stuff and this one seemed to check all the boxes. It’s actually made in the US using the same method as the factory in Japan. The taste compared to Soy Sauce is, this is saltier, you can almost smell the saltiness, it’s not overwhelming, you will also notice it’s got a darker, more earthier taste as it goes through your palate. This is much more bold flavor, so if your looking for a soy sauce Substitute that will make the soy sauce flavor pop, I recommend picking up a bottle I’m currently enjoying it in a small serving cup with the gyoza that I cooked in my air fryer, it’s great. Because of the boldness, I don’t need alot, a couple tablespoons worth and I’m good for dipping 20 of my dumplings.
