Love it, wide enough for my 17" laptop and mouse pad. I like the Velcro addition too so the laptop doesn't slide or become unstable.

This is the best lap board I've seen or used.. it arrived fast and is as described strong solid mettle smooth rounded edges good paint and nice Velcro to add ur keyboard the mouse is held on by Velcro to so adding ur own is not a problem although the one with it works great
