Perfect for Microgreens
I'm about to buy my third set of these trays. I bought my first set when I began growing microgreens last summer and my second a few months later, but, in February, when I upgraded the lighting and shelving of my little indoor farm, I thought I should "graduate" to 1020 trays as well. Big mistake. My (expensive) first set of 1020s was flimsy, my (shockingly expensive) second set much more sturdy but with a bulge in the center of each tray so bottom-watering left the plants in the middle high and dry. The size of the trays also made them hard to handle, so I went back to the Germinator trays with a new appreciation for their design and quality. They truly are perfect for people growing microgreens at home: the right size for abundant harvests without any waste, as well as easy clean-up. They're tough enough to withstand constant use, and the bottoms are gloriously* level. I wish they were available with holes, but it actually takes me only a few minutes with a power drill to get some. (I've found that 25-30 holes with a quarter-inch drill bit does the trick.) A lot of companies seem to be selling inferior merchandise to microgreen-growers, presumably because so many of us are new to indoor gardening, so it's important to spread the word about products that buck this trend. These trays are definitely worth celebrating!* If you think "gloriously" is laying it on a little thick, try losing a few thousand plants to mold, damping off, and/or extreme thirst and see how much you appreciate a hump-free tray!

These trays are super sturdy and durable, but they are not standard size.
I love these trays. But as you can see from the coconut pads I purchased to use with them they are smaller than the standard 10 X 20 so I had to cut the pads down. I dropped one star because I could not find the dimensions in the description easily. But all the sizing aside, if you are looking to grow micro greens these are fabulous for the task. You can't go wrong using these. The trays are thick and hold up well.I noticed that they also offer some e-books. I could not find any info on downloading those but I think most people know how to grow the greens well enough anyway. If you need a sturdy growing tray and a slightly smaller tray is ok with you, these are perfect!

Worth the upgrade
These are so sturdy and worth the cost. I can easily carry a tray of seedlings with one hand because they don't bend and wobble like cheaper trays. These are also perfect for growing microgreens.

Smaller but sturdy trays
Even though these are smaller, they are made well and will hold 10 of 3" Jiffy Pots easily. Was a little pricey but compared to some others that I looked at that had worse reviews even though they were bigger. I'm happy I ordered these because I know they will last. Very satisfied with these.

Sturdy
I use these for seed starting under grow lights. They are sturdy enough to carry the plants to the garden without any trouble at all. I'm betting they will last many seasons.
