Better Life Natural Dishwasher Gel Detergent, 30 Fl Oz, Pack of 2

I read the reviews before I bought this product and saw that there were many reviews on both sides - for and against this product. But I thought I would give it a try, I really wanted it to work for me. Unfortunately, my dishes just don’t come clean, and there’s often nasty water on the dishes in the upper rack. The only way I’ve gotten clean dishes is to wash them before loading them in the dishwasher, but my dishes still come out cloudy.I’ve tried more and less amounts of the detergent, and I’ve tried loading fewer things, but it just comes down to waste for me - I want to be careful of the toxins I put in my body, but I also want to be aware of the waste I am contributing, and to te-washing my dishes, or rewatching after unloading the dishwasher, feels like I’m saving on one resource only to waste on another.I will be looking for a different dish washer detergent that works better for my family.

As much as I appreciate its effectiveness and eco-friendliness, the price is a significant consideration for me.Overall, I give this product 4 stars for its performance and eco-friendly attributes, but I would have given it 5 stars if it were more reasonably priced. If budget is not a concern for you, I would highly recommend giving it a try. However, if you're more budget-conscious like myself, you may want to explore alternative options.

I used this product for years until recently it was back ordered. When I saw it was in stock again I didn’t hesitate to repurchase. Unfortunately the formula seems to have changed and my dishes don’t come out clean like they used to. Even when I use more product. The product consistency has also changed. It used to be thicker and more whitish. Now it’s runnier and the color is clearer.

I was recommended this product by a friend who is very into natural products. This seems to work fine for the dishwashers we have had in our homes for the past few years. I have noted that if you fill the detergent cup with this detergent, the dishwasher will almost always overflow with foam/bubbles which then condense and appear outwardly as a leaking dishwasher.If you suspect your dishwasher is leaking due to an over-filled detergent situation, you can diagnose this by opening the door a little while after you hear the detergent door flip open. If the foam/bubbles/suds are covering the walls of the dishwasher and piled up really high, then you are using too much detergent.Once I started filling the detergent cup about 1/4 or less I have not had any issues...and yes, the dishes are just as clean as before :)
