SoWash is the innovative Oral Irrigation system that connects directly to the tap and works only with water pressure to give you a complete, natural, and effective oral care. Thanks to its Quick Connect system, SoWash plugs in directly to your tap in a split-second, allowing you to conveniently regulate water temperature and pressure: no more water tanks to fill, loud motors, batteries, or bulky systems. SoWash fits in a toothbrush holder, it’s quiet, eco-friendly, and it’s just as powerful as its top of the line competitors. Thanks to its powerful water jet, SoWash arrives where toothbrushes and floss cannot easily reach, cleaning between teeth and below the gum line. As a result, harmful bacteria that could not otherwise be reached, is flushed out and removed. Whether you suffer from bleeding gums, bad breath, or are simply concern with maintaining an optimal oral hygiene, SoWash oral irrigators are your best allies in the fight against gum disease. SoWash is very simple to use. Once you install the special Water Powered aerator filter, you will simply connect SoWash to your faucet in a split second every time you need it! The installation needs to be done only the first time – our special filter works and looks just like your old aerator and can be left in place, with the only added advantage that it allows you to use SoWash as well as all any other Water Powered products!

SoWash vs Oral Breeze -- go for the SoWash
I got this after my Oral Breeze from 10+ years ago finally died when the hose connector to the attachments finally broke. The particular Oral Breeze model I had no longer exists -- it was a model that used a quick-connector to pop on and off the faucet and had no valves or diverter levers. The unit that attached to the sink was built like a tank -- solid brass components -- and was very similar in function to quick-connectors for lawn hoses. I considered getting something different this time around, however, because the Oral Breeze was always slightly difficult to get on and off the faucet. Also, I read a few reviews saying that the Oral Breeze had dropped in quality over the years. With this background, here are my impressions of how the SoWash compares.SHORT SUMMARY: I slightly prefer the SoWash and it strikes me as an excellent product, though it is only better than the Oral Breeze in some respects and is worse in others.ADVANTAGES OF SoWash:1) Spray attachment of the SoWash is higher quality than the Oral Breeze. The Oral Breeze spray heads I had were stamped out of a cheaper feeling plastic and the water leaving the tips came out in an uneven spray. The SoWash spray heads, on the other hand, are constructed of a thicker material and the water comes out in a fine, narrow stream. However, to be fair to the Oral Breeze, the spray is directed immediately to the teeth so a precise spray isn't necessary. Additionally, the Oral Breeze heads DID last for 10+ years without leaking at the seals, so they were clearly good enough.2) SoWash has "irrigator" spray heads that don't exist for the Oral Breeze. In addition to the normal spray heads that clean between the teeth and around the gum line, The SoWash also offers a sort of irrigator head that has three tiny nozzles and a rotating gear inside that creates a pulsating spray. This is excellent for massaging the gums and is one of the main reasons I went for the SoWash, so if you're looking at one of the SoWash packages that doesn't include these, you're missing out on one of the larger benefits of this package.3) SoWash has an easier faucet mounting system. Like the Oral Breeze, the SoWash has a metal attachment that replaces the normal aerator on your faucet -- this part is semi-permanent. Then there is another part at the end of the hose that attaches to this semi-permanent base. As I mentioned above, the Oral Breeze attachment I had was extremely rugged, but also a little annoying to get on and off. The SoWash, on the other hand, requires just a simple twist and it's attached with a tight seal. However...again to be fair...with the Oral Breeze, both parts of the attachment were solid brass, whereas on the SoWash only the part that attaches to the faucet is, the other mating part is plastic. Will this plastic mating part be able to go on and off, every day, for 10+ years? I have no idea. For me, if it lasts even half as long, the ease of use of the SoWash will be worth it.4) The SoWash has a coiled hose. This might seem like a small detail, but since you need to lean directly over the sink when using any of these types of products, having something that coils itself down to just a few inches makes storage much easier than something that doesn't. I didn't anticipate that this would be as big a plus as it turned out to be until after I started using the SoWash.DISADVANTAGES OF SoWash:1) The heads of the SoWash are notably more difficult to insert...and especially more difficult to remove...than on the Oral Breeze. The Oral Breeze heads just slide in and then lock in place with a quick and easy twist. The SoWash heads need to be snapped in and out, and with wet and slippery hands this is sometimes difficult. Additionally, I don't anticipate that the constant snapping in and out will wear as well as the Oral Breeze method, and if the part that wears out is on the attachment hose rather than the spray head, then the entire product will essentially become unusable. This part I obviously can't comment on with respect to the SoWash. I CAN say, however, that the Oral Breeze method proved it can withstand the test of time -- over a decade of use. This is the only real downside to the SoWash and if it withstands years of use then it will be a clear winner. I'm cautiously optimistic. But as a basic design, the Oral Breeze approach is superior.FINAL "FEATURE" -- The SoWash has a built in pressure relief valve so that you can't accidentally turn the water on too high and damage your gums or blast out a filling. I can see in theory how this would be an attractive feature. Personally, I feel that the relief valve is set a little too low and I trust myself to regulate the pressure myself by using the faucet, so I used a glue gun to block the exit ports. For me, then, this "feature" was really not a feature. But if you have kids or even if you have people who don't easily finesse the faucet, it's probably a nice plus.Overall, the easier attachment of the SoWash to the faucet, the coiled hose, and the gum irrigator heads make the SoWash superior to the Oral Breeze in my experience.

Best engineering by far!
Finally, an oral irrigator that's designed for the way I use it. I can't stand the sight of the hose dangling, so it has to come off after every use.I used Oral Breeze for many years. There used to be several models, one of which had an easy on-off connector. The current model has a universal connector that is a real PITA. Worse, it wears quickly and must be replaced frequently. The SoWash has a perfect connector. It's easy to install and completely unobtrusive. It's designed to be removed after every use, which makes it perfect for me. I've ordered the additional styles of tips to see which works best for me. I'll update this review in a month or two.June 9, 2019As noted by others, the pressure relief valve is not good for everyone. My mouth likes a more forceful stream. When I emailed the seller, I was told that a new model is in the works which will allow the user to close the valve. But I couldn't wait, so I used epoxy to fill the drain holes with and seal the joint where the hose exits the faucet assembly. Problem solved! You can barely see the clear epoxy. Of course, it's not a reversible fix but since I'm the only user, that's okay.

love this
I was previously using a large, countertop water pic and was tired of having to refill it and cleaning it out repeatedly, not to mention having to keep it plugged in with wires tangling, etc. Someone recommend this small kit and I love it! Easy to use, no cleaning, doesn't take much storage space. And I recently went traveled on a cruise and took this with me and the fittings worked on the ship. It was great having it with me while traveling. The spray isn't quite as strong as a the countertop water pic, but it is strong enough to clean your teeth.
