Great for securing gear to BCD
I bought this to keep my AI dive computer close to my body and in a place that’s easily accessible. It installed very quickly, it has lasted many dives, and has never given me any issues. I’m happy with the length of the cord and the strength of the spring to retract the cord. It definitely helps to streamline my diving profile. I’ve thought about buying a few more to keep other gear tidy. Definitely would recommend.

noticed the retraction strength specs too late
keeping this to hold my slate, but for gauges there is nowhere near enough retraction spring power to hold pressure and depth gauges. I ordered the lightest version, but I don't think the strongest would cut it either.

Not for SCUBA
Not sure why they would say this was for SCUBA. 2 days in it started to rust. Clearly the metal parts were not stainless steel.It did have a nice balanced retraction for console. Not too strong or too weak. So the rusting was disappointing!
