So I've had this case now for about a few months. I have to say that I absolutely love this case! The pictures do not do this product justice. It also snaps close when you close your Mac. It does take just a few tries when you first get use to opening it because when you pull the tab to unlock it, you may first pull just a tad too hard and there are two tabs at the top that snap on to the screen that may unsnap. You definitely get use to it and isn't an issue anymore after a few times. It's definitely made with good materials and is not flimsy in the least! There is also two semi clear peices that protect both top and bottom of your Mac which will protect it from surface scratches which is a must for Macs! Also, the rubber pads on the bottom are very thick and give this case amazing grip so it doesn't slip when typing. By far the best case out there and you would not be disappointed in the least if you bought it!

Honestly didn’t work for me. I didn’t like the look as much as I thought I would plus it had some troublesome features. First off it was difficult to put on. At first I was thrilled to see a case that really won’t come off. But that’s the thing, it realllllllly won’t come off. I needed to remove it for Apple to service an unrelated problem and it was on so tight I began to bend the outer body of my Mac! To my embarrassment I damaged my otherwise perfect Mac and cut my fingers in the middle of the Apple store. Two months later I bought a case equally secure with a better design for 1/3 the price. Plus I didn’t kill myself putting it on.

wow fits amazign might be a little bulkt for some but i don't mind brings me back tot the oldschool laptops with all the weight. has a little silicon piece where you would think it issee through but you can rip off if you want. the freen is more like neon yellow but the blue fits amazing!!!!! covers the ports really well giving extra room for larger peripherals doesn't cover any air vents

After cracking the Apple logo on my MacBook Pro I decided it was time to get a case. This one was exactly what I had my heart set out on. It's unobtrusive to the ports ( I also got the rubber plugs to protect those which I recommend). It's stylish and doesn't weight the laptop down too much. Only thing I can add was that the clear material in the middle of the panels is thinner/softer than I was expected (not a hard shell), but this actually hasn't bothered me. It fits tight and the inside stays clean and dust free, and it doesn't seem to effect the MacBook's cooling abilities. Had it for about a month now and take my laptop to/from work multiple times a week. Overall MUCH better than previous laptops cases I've owned, would buy again and again!

Case is highly protective. Think Otter box for your MacBook Pro. Adds bulk/thickness to the machine, but not weight.There is a small clasp in front with the top is closed. Not really necessary. Makes care a little harder to open than required.Get it if you want to protect case, but not if you want to retain the machine's sleek profile.

For those who are posting that this case doesn't fit...you weren't paying attention to the item description that says specifically which model this case is for. Stop giving bad reviews for your stupidity. If you order the one specific to your model, it will fit fine. I have the A1502 and this case fits perfectly. Snug, tight latch when closed and good shock protection. Better than the Thule model and 1/3 the price. Pay attention when you order as NexCase has variations for many models.

This case has been worth every penny. The only complaint is that both back corner tabs have broken off. However this doesn’t affect the integrity of the case at all. To be honest I wondered why they were even there or why they weren’t wider/thicker. I’d give it a 4.5 but this is Amazon.

Did not protect at all. My computer actually fell the day after I put this on and my computer broke. Big thumbs down
