I've owned about 5-6 Zippo lighters in my life, and they are always top-notch quality. Over the years I lost a couple, but I couldn't pass on this one when I saw it. I like the bright orange color (difficult to lose while camping), and I really like the logo. As with any item designed for rugged use, I expect this lighter will develop scratches and some wear over time. But I know it will always function as long as I keep it filled and replace the flint as needed (once a year maybe? Unless used daily). One thing to note with Zippos is that they tend to need a refill once a week or so. I know this and keep lighter fluid on hand when I use a Zippo over a period of time, usually while camping. This is exactly what I expected and I love it.
