Perhaps the majority of the reviewers here received a free promotional unit for their review. I did not, and offer this candid insight. This is the absolute worst steamer I have used. There was no manual included with mine thus my journey here to understand how it is supposed to operate.First, the color is wretched: white, purple, and a rusty maroon color. Simply horrid. The box states it includes a "floor kit for daily cleaning." Huh? There are claims here that it is easy to use. Yes, if you enjoy carpal tunnel syndrome, this is right up your alley! Per the Q&A I find here, one must press the steam pump button every two seconds for the 14-minute duration of the water tank. If one presses more frequently, the device pukes water all over the garment and the floor, as well as pouring hot water down your arm. No U.S agency approval can be found on this unit, and rightly so; even the power cord is a relic of the 60's -- a short, 1 meter cord with a braided cloth covering.Run -- don't walk -- away from this unit.

This is an impressive little steamer. It is lightweight and very simple to use. There are three different attachments that you can use so there is something for every need. There is a brush attachment that is excellent for steaming fabrics, curtains and more delicate items that you do not want to apply the direct heat from an iron to and a lint attachment to easily remove excess lint. The brush attachment is great for use when I have washed my curtains as instead of ironing them all I do is hang them back on the rod and steam out any wrinkles that have set in from the dryer. The unit has a holder that it rests in while it is in use which is great so that you don't have to worry about laying a hot appliance down on other surfaces. It is nice and compact and much easier to store than other pole type steamers. I am happy with this and will be using this often.
