Review for 7 lengths of rail, ladder and rollers
First the rail.....Went like clockwork. No problems. Because of other reviewers saying how bad the screws were I went with 1/4" bolts instead. First off I made a test with a scrap board with 2 rails mounted on it. Then attached one of the ladder rollers on a scrap 2 x 4. Needed to make sure where to mount the running board for the ladder to clear the ceiling beams. None of the rail brackets were off center and all bolted into the board without problem. To attach 2 or more rails together a coupler is included. 2 o rings on each end. Lubed them up with some liquid soap and all went in easily. We now have almost a 24'track for our ladder. Very happy with the purchase.Next the ladder......Again, very happy. I wanted something with a little character and the slotted hand holds did it. I finished it with 2 coats of a pecan stain and poly mix. Like some reviewers stated, a bit tough to put together, but not too tough. The holes lined up with the steps, but do clean out the holes of chip residue. There was only one instance of having to shave one of the steps so it would fit in the slot. I put this one up high, so we'll never use it.Rollers.......no brainer. Maybe the company changed screw material, but I had none break off using my impact driver. Both the top and lower rollers roll smoothly.

Sturdy, well-designed, easy to assemble
This worked wonderfully for my build. I was under the impression from Q&A for their kits that the bottom roller wheels weren't included, but this particular kit did include those wheels which made it an even better value for the money. Heavy-duty and sturdy pieces that were easy to assemble on a homemade ladder. The ladder has only been in use for about two weeks at the time of writing, so I'll update this review if the kit proves to be any less sturdy than it seems at this time. I'd definitely recommend this kit.

Be careful which version you have
So I bought the main roller with the casters for the bottom of the ladder and everything on eBay and then bought the extension track on Amazon. Overall, it does the job pretty well. But there are things to be aware of:1. Far as I can tell, this same company makes three different versions of this product. If all you get is the base product without an extension, doesn't make a whole lot of difference which one you get, though there are considerations which I'll get to in a moment. But if you need the extension, it's not enough to buy the same brand name. You need to check pictures and make sure you get a compatible extension because the three versions are NOT compatible with each other.2. The version I original bought and thus needed the extension for has a rather wide bracket. It's a bit of over 4 inches from top to bottom which presented a problem since my bookshelf doesn't have 4.5 inch thick shelves. I had to rig something up where I attached a 2x4 to the top of the bookshelf and even with that, the edge of the bracket hangs off the edge of the 2x4 slightly. They have another version with a round bracket which has a smaller footprint but I had already bought this version for the main product so I was stuck. Far as I can tell, only way to know which you are buying is to check the pictures.3. Again, check pictures carefully, especially if, like me, you need the extension because the extensions are from the same company and have the same product name but are NOT compatible with each other.4. I found that even once I had the right extension bar, the extension holder wasn't a perfect fit (it's a little thing that fits into either side and is meant to let them hold together). Thus the two parts are a tiny fraction of an inch off from each other. It's useable but you notice a slight bump when wheeling the ladder over the bump.5. I didn't bother with the screws it came with and just used my own so I can't comment on that. But it was super annoying that it didn't come with a hex key for the brake. Fortunately, I had a huge set of hex keys and found one that fit. Otherwise you risk the ladder sliding right of the rail if you go too far.6. Overall, seems sturdy enough and I'm a fairly large man. It held my weight just fine and didn't buckle at all but as I said, it was a pain because i bought the wrong version of the extension and had to wait for a replacement.7. One more issue which likely won't matter to many but I want to mention it -- this has to be perfectly aligned to be level. As I mentioned, I had to rig up a 2x4 to make this thing fit my bookshelf. Because of this, I attached brackets on the back to make sure the 2x4 was held firmly in place and the 2x4 has a very slight angle now because of that. When I first attached this thing to the 2x4, it wouldn't glide. I had to really struggle with it. I solved the problem by inserting a few thin gaskets behind the top of the bracket so that it was absolutely level.Overall, happy with it and this was by far the least expensive option I found but it was a lot more trouble than it should have been because the company doesn't make it clear they have three different versions. The instructions are also not very helpful though that seems to be common with a lot of these kind of products...

GREAT FOR BUNK BED TRANSFORMATION
The library ladder kit transformed our kids’ bunk bed into a cool and functional space. Its sturdy construction and smooth rolling mechanism make accessing the top bunk a breeze for the little ones. The added touch of a sliding ladder not only enhances functionality but also sparks the imagination, turning bedtime into a playful adventure. A fantastic addition to our kids’ room, combining practicality with a touch of whimsy.

Poor quality
I liked the look and feel of the metal parts to this kit. However; the quality of the hardware to install it was awful... I was missing parts from the extension set and spent hours at the hardware store finding the right screws and bolts to make it work. The screws that did make it were terrible and all stripped out. Amazon has a link to the original seller and there's no actual way to contact them. The link takes you in circles to send a message that never sends.

Easy to install
This kit was easy to install and moves extremely smoothly. It would have made building the ladder easier if they had had some basic guidelines in the instructions. A few web searches provided the information to design and build the 9 foot ladder. I used red oak which made a heavy and solid/sturdy ladder. Movement is easy and I added to the width making the travel 12 feet. The total of wood and additional track was less than 80.00. This is a great value and quality kit.

Great look and quality hardware
In addition to the rolling ladder hardware I purchased an additional three sections. The result looks great and I’m happy with the quality of the wheels and like that the rollers slide up so you can store the ladder when not in use. I only had one issue but the seller resolved quickly. The stop pieces that slide onto ends have a screw that tightens with an Allen wrench but the powder coating has fused the tip of the screw to the base and I eventually stripped it trying to get it to budge. I emailed the seller and they shipped me two more and those worked fine. I did not have any issues with the screws that some reviews mentioned so they may be better quality now. Make sure to drill pilot holes.
