STAR BRITE Professional Grade Mold & Mildew Stain Remover - 32 OZ (120032)

This stuff is AMAZING!! I was skeptical because my outdoor cushions were looking pretty rough, but this spray brought them back to life!! I’m so happy with the results! Made them look new again, and I was tempted to toss them and buy new ones. This product saved me a lot of money!

I live in Florida, the land of mold and mildew. I wish I had taken before and after photos of the white background outdoor pillows I cleaned with this product. I could NOT remove the mildew from these outdoor pillows. I tried bleach, I tried Dawn, I tried Oxi Clean Max Force and Carbona Oxy Powered Outdoor cleaner. Nothing would remove the embedded mold/mildew. So, I thought I would try one more product just for the heck of it. And SURPRISE! I'm shocked...this product totally cleaned those pillows. So I tried it on my white outdoor chaises. Totally clean with minor scrubbing. I highly recommend this product. However, I do suggest you wear a mask when using (although they do not suggest this on the bottle) because the fumes are strong.

I accidentally left pillows outside thinking they were outdoor ones. They were now. They ended up with black stains and spots all over them. I washed one but the stains didn't come out. Last night I sprayed this on them and left them outside. This morning I was totally shocked to see all the stains were totally gone. I didn't touch it. Just sprayed it on and all stains are gone. It didn't bleach out the colors either. Best product I've ever used for stain removal.

This is a great product. I have bought it multiple times to use around the house and it does the job. The only thing is that every time I have used it, the sprayer stops working. Seems that it gets clogged up. If they can fix the sprayer issues this would be a five star.

This product is amazing!! I’ve been struggling with cleaning out the mold in my bathroom for months and no amount of scrubbing could get rid of it. I sprayed this on, waited a few minutes, and came back to it all gone!! I was so happy especially because my bathroom exhaust stopped working, no dehumidifier could do a good enough job, I could not get a replacement for my exhaust, and I was feeling sick from all the mold that was growing. This thing was like magic and made all the months of mold growing go away. I highly recommend opening all the windows (or have some kind of ventilation flow through), and wearing gloves, masks, and goggles. This product has a strong smell and has stung my eyes. You might even want to leave that area for a couple hours after cleaning so that you’re not constantly smelling the chemicals. It might be to strong for some, but to me, it was worth it!

Works great for boat seats and even patio cushions! I get this every spring when it’s time to shine everything up!

I'm not sure why anyone thinks this is not a bleach product. The main ingredient in this is sodium hypochlorite which is bleach. It's just that this is about three times the price of what you can get Tilex Mold and Mildew Remover for at your local department store or supermarket. If you're skeptical just Google up the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for this particular product. "Performacide 120032 Mildew Stain Remover msds" gets it for you right off their website. I'll admit that I bought this as well thinking it was something different, but then realized after I looked at the bottle that it was the same thing. That said, it does work, but there is no reason to buy it when you can just buy the Tilex or other product for much less. That said, their chlorine dioxide product Performacide 122032 Mold and Mildew Eliminator Kit, 32 oz is something different and is worth using after you use a product like this to ensure that you have destroyed any bacterial or fungal compounds in the area. Please note that if you use this product in an enclosed area you should wear a respirator and gloves at the least to avoid aspirating any gases or contacting the substance in any way. You really cannot use products like this effectively and avoid aspirating or contacting them without protection.
