PrepWorks Canning Funnel for Easy, Mess-Free Canning and Pouring into Jars

I have canned for years and this hands down is the best funnel I have ever used. It has a lip so it sits over the jar edge and doesn’t get the food on the jar rim. It is sturdy where you can sit it on the counter top in between filling jars. It also shows you the headspace measurements as you fill, making that part super easy. I will note the description says it is stainless steel and it is plastic. Still thong it is a fantastic product.

Amazing amazing amazing! Such a simple little thing but makes all the difference when you’re trying to can 20+ jars at one time! It keeps the rim clean and the opening is big enough to be able to ladle a lot at one time. It’s very sturdy and functional. Wish I bought this before I got all of the cheesy ones from Walmart.

If you can a lot then this is a nice addition. Keeps messes down to a min and like how it already shows your headspace as filling. Thick plastic, funnel is of decent size but depending on what you’re pouring from a pan you could go over the sides and so far seems to handle the heat of your food. Fits regular or wide mouth jars nicely.

A good funnel is always a useful tool in the kitchen. This particular funnel has it good points. It does provide a stable funnel on top of a canning jar. The markings on the side help to determine the level of food or liquid in the canning jar. The level markings are clearly printed. However, I did not find it all that easy to view the liquid level in the canning jar. I probably consider this aspect of this funnel more of a sales gimmick than a real tool for using when canning. The funnel itself is like any funnel and performs its function adequately. It is definitely easy to clean. I found it dishwasher safe. Though you will need to set up upright in the dishwasher to avoid it collecting water in the process. I would put it only on the top shelf because it is made of plastic. The design of the funnel does give it a solid seat on top of the canning jar. The funnel will not be moving around during use which is good. The construction seems to be good. I have no real complaints about this funnel. If I had it to do over, would I purchase this funnel, probably not. Personally, I think I prefer the stainless steel wide opening funnels over this one. However, if you feel this funnel will work for you, then I have no problem recommending it.

I am a canner. Thus is what you need to get your food in the jars, without making a big mess. It also as headroom measurements on it. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to store away with the rest of your canning supplies. It is light weight. I wash mine by hand. You always need the correct tools for the job. It makes your life so much easier. Thanks

Canning funnel I haven't tried it yet but it looks good for the value I would recommend it I've had a good look at that you can measure how far to put the water up to in your jar

Dieses Teil ist allemal sein Geld wert! Es verhindert das kleckern beim Abfüllen von Einmachgläser - gerade bei TO82 - am Gewindeteil des Glases. Also kein sauber machen mehr und Angst haben, daß sich die Gläser nach einer Zeit Luft ziehen und dir somit der Inhalt kaputt geht. Tolle Sache! Absolut Empfehlenswert und ein Muss für Einkocher!

Filling jars are now a breeze. Hardly any drips and with spouts on both sides and the front so easy to get that little bit more.
