This bowl is made of a real coconut, a widely available fruit in tropical countries in South East Asia. A coconut's meat and water are used as food, then the coconut skull is polished to show off the shinny brown coconut wood as you can see in the inside of this bowl. Outside this coconut bowl, tens of eggshell pieces are dyed in purple and inlaid by hand onto the bowl, creating an unique decorative bowl from totally natural materials. Because these coconut bowl are made from real coconut, they are not perfectly round like other machine-made bowls, but they maintains the original shape of natural coconuts.
