This is a product I intend to get more of. The plastic coated wire that attaches the sling loop to the rifle is surprisingly durable. I expected it to melt off quickly. I bought this for an AKM. It would also work well on many free float hand guards and even the pinned front sight base on an older style AR. I resisted getting this for many years. I'm all for it now. Great product !

Very nice way to attach a sling you the front of an AK. I was considering using 550 cord to attach to the front sling loop on my Palmetto AK-P. But after thinking about how hot that piece gets I thought it was a bad idea. I picked this up and couldn't be happier! With the steel cable I'll never gave to worry about the heat affecting it. It fit very nice and is very quick to attach and unhook. Also very nice to set it's made in the USA too.

Know one thing: anything you buy from Blue Force Gear will be HIGH QUALITY, and actually made in the USA. You pay for what you get and I still think they offer high quality products at a price below what I would pay for something that supports American-owned businesses. You can either buy a cheap Chinese-made piece of trash, or you can spend just a little bit more and buy something that will last a lifetime and won't fail you on a piece of equipment that could save your life.

I was skeptical when I first took it out of the package with the cable loop in a plastic holder. Purchase based on a recommendation from a friend. This thing locks together and feels stout! I actually prefer the plastic piece so there’s not extra “clank” against the side of the gun. This is much nicer, in my opinion, than the clips with the elastic wrap. There seems to be no way the cable could come undone accidentally. The small cable is stiff enough it holds it firmly in its spot.

The front sling mount on my carbine is permanently installed at the 6 o'clock position, which presented me with two issues:1) It's not quick-detach, and2) when I sling my rifle it tends to flip on its side, which is very uncomfortable, and not at all what I want.That's where this beauty comes in. Not only does it allow me another inch or two of length on my sling, but it ensures that my carbine will remain at my side, oriented as I intended.That being said, I could have accomplished the same thing with 5 inches of paracord, but this is way fancier, and I could never resist adding another piece of tacti-cool gear to my collection.

Very happy with the Blue Force Gear Uloop! Very high quality, quick and easy to use. Excellent for situations were QD swivel is not possible.

Seems sturdy, also nice that since the cable is plastic coated it wont wear my sling mount. At least until the plastic wears through, but only time will tell how long that will take.

Helped to attach one of my slings to an interface that wasn't designed for that sling, money well spent
