TWENTY INCH COINASAURUS BANK (Pink) by Big Belly Banks

had this piggy bank three months and my daughter still enjoys "feeding the dinosaur" daily. it's solidly built, and the coin insert is a nice touch. for the price, however, i would expect to have a bigger "belly" to collect coins.we've also not accumulated enough change to empty the dinosaur, but there doesn't seem to be a quick, easy way to empty the dinosaur.it's good. it's interesting. but, for the price, i would expect a little more.as for shipping, there was some delay. this item was ordered around valentine's day and we didn't receive it for 2 to 3 weeks. we weren't notified of any back-order situations from the seller, so if you need to get this soon, you may want to stay on top of the seller.

These are wonderful. I bought a blue one for my grandson years ago, and just bought one for my granddaughter for her second birthday. You put a coin into the track, which begins at the dinosaur's mouth, and watch it travel down the track and land in the big belly. The big belly can be opened, the coins emptied out, and then deposited in a bank account. Then the dinosaur gets hungry again. It's great fun.

I have bought 3 of these as presents; 2 for grandchildren and 1 for my 30 year old daughter. They are a very simple bank yet give a big smile upon opening the gift. Then it sits wherever and they think of me (I hope) every time they look at it or drop a coin into it.

I purchased this coin bank for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves feeding her dinosaur. Before we used a cheap plastic piggy bank and she never wanted to add the change. I purchased this because I thought it would be a cute and fun way to save money.The large clear belly makes it easy to see the change accumulate and watching the coins zig zag down to the belly is my daughter's favourite. She pretends to "feed" him before sliding the change down its mouth.The only issues I have had was with smaller coins like the dime and penny. If you try to slide the coins in too fast, one right after the other, they can get stuck. When that happens I just use a pen or chopstick to seperate the coins and they continue their way to the belly. The other is that the quarter is the largest coin it accepts. So saving any Canadian Loonies or Twoonies are out.Taking the change out is rather simple. It's like a hampster ball so you have to twist to open. The coin bank is very sturdy and made in the USA!!!!!Over all this is a darling coin bank that is super fun to "feed" and I recommend it to anyone.

Smaller than I had expected but super cute. My child loves watching the money drop.

Bank is cute and seems well made but the printing on the packaging rubbed off on it somehow leaving faint blue marks all over the pink paint.

My not quite three year old daughter loves her dinosaur. Seems quitewell made, finish is great. I only wish we'd gotten a bigger one!

Wood was cracked in several places -- the bank was crooked and did not stand up straight. This was for a gift.
