June 1, 2017 I've already lost 1 pound in day. I've been on a diet for the past 3 months. I'm 48 years old and is going though menopause. It took me 2 months before I can loose only 5 pounds. It was only 1 1/2 years ago that I can loose 9 pounds in just 3 weeks!!! And now I'm struggling to loose weight. I've on a paleo diet for 3 months! Lost 5 in 2 months and and only loosing 1 1/2 pounds in the past month before taking this product. I feel a lot less hungry the first day and less craving. I will be back to write another review in couple weeks. June 4, 2017 It has been only 3 days since my review, and I just had to write another review! I used to buy a "Japan Best Slim", diet pills which used to work for me in the past, over the past 8 years, on and off, whenever I gain back weight, but that product only best worked for the first 3 weeks and wouldn't show anymore effect. I had just recently used the past month, before trying this product and had only lost a 2 pounds in months, compared to the last several times, I used to loose 15 pounds in just 3 weeks. After only loosing 2 pounds in a month, I knew that my body is changing a great deal, because I'm older now, at 48 years and after being on a yo yo diet since I'm was 25 and going though menopause, I thought I would never loose the weight again! Between 25-43 yrs of age, I have been between 27-40 pounds. After I reach 43, I gain up 52 pounds for the first time in my life. I went on a low carb, high protein diet and took 3 weeks to loose from 152 pounds to 137 pounds in only 3 weeks!!!! After that, from 137 pounds, it took 2 months to loose from 137-132 pounds, and from 132- 127 pounds, it took 3 months to loose. So, I get closer to my desired weight, it takes longer and longer! When I was in my 20's and 30's of age, It would only take 3 months to loose 15 pounds, in other words, this is poof, that as you get older, it's just so much harder to loose weight! It's been 3 months from 150 pounds, I only lost a total of 7.5 pounds, before trying this product! And just after 4 days of using Atrafen elite, I lost 4 pounds and plus being on a no carb, paleo diet, which I had already been on a paleo diet for the past 3 months! It was only a little over a year ago, I lost 9 pounds on a paleo diet in just 3 weeks! It's amazing how my body has changed in just little over year, which I can loose 5 pounds in 2 months!!! In the past 4 days, my body felt like a hot thermol, I wasn't if it was my hot flashes from me menopausing, but now I sure its Altrafen Elite. If you still fairly young, I would reccomend the regular AtraFen pills. I choice the Elite, only knowing how much more difficult it is for me to loose weight now. I am so happy now, because I got only 6 more days before a wedding, that I've been trying to loose 15 pounds, in time for this wedding! I'm now at 139 pounds and i'm confident enough, I'll loose another 4 pounds in the remaining 6 days!!! I am just so happy I choice to this product!

This is not the same product. AltraFen is a white powder, but this one is brown powder version (inside the capsule). This version gives me headaches and I basically wasted my money on a product that sometimes is white powder and sometimes brown powder. When can the company be consistent with the product? Unfortunately they don't take returns and I'm out $30.

Received this product yesterday and started taking it this product morning. I purchased this product to suppress my appetite and give me more energy. I am a 40 year old female and weigh 160 lbs. (as a reference). I’ve started Weighht Watchers as a New Years resolution to eat healthy and have started excercising; walking/running on treadmill. Day 1- 1 pill in the AM - Felt a little jittery but not so bad I couldn’t take it. I don’t feel like it made my heart race. Which was one of my main concerns. I feel very alert, not sure if my energy level has increased because I sit behind a desk but I can tell you, I’m not sleepy! I normally get really hungry by lunch time even if I eat breakfast; constantly looking at the clock. This has definitely killed my appetite. Not even thinking about food or want to eat. I may take another pill this afternoon; before I work out. I don’t think I would take it before dinner because I’m afraid it will keep me up at night. Bottle says you can take up to 3 pills a day. I think it would be too much for me. Unusual side effects- It causes my nose to run and my mouth to salivate. I am a little more thirsty, which isn’t a bad thing because I need to increase my water intake. I will update my review after one week of use. So far l, I can say it truly works!

When I first started taking Atrafen Elite it worked great. It did suppress my appetite and I didn’t crave sweets as much. I wound up getting a stomach virus and didn’t take it for about a month, but when I started again my heart started racing, I would get very jittery and the nausea and vomiting were debilitating. I thought it was just a fluke so I waited a week and tried again, but with the same results. I don’t know if they changed the formula or it’s because I have actually lost over 50lbs (not from this) and the difference in weight affects it, but I can no longer use it.
