Inexpensive, good for Arcade1up
I put two of these (plus a barely used A1up stick I had leftover from a project) in an a used Arcade1up Rampage cabinet to replace the joysticks that were very worn out. This wasn’t plug & play at all, I had to re-use the original sticks’ 2x4 connectors and carefully wire these up. Swapping the gate to 4 way was no trouble at all.It will help you install this stick if you look up “DIY retro arcade arcade1up figuring out joystick wiring” on YouTube. Not rocket science but you will definitely use electrical hand tools and patience. They are softer than Sanwas and they’re a little taller. Not as responsive and the Sanwa springs DO NOT fit these sticks. But they’re a good value and they’re a lot better than worn out ones. Good stick for $10 and some effort.

Quality control seems to basically be non-existant
Skip this one, get another. The 8/4 way toggle doesn't actually work, its only in 8-way mode (which is fine for me). More importantly though, one of the diagonals was effectively dead. Based on some other reviews, this is basically a 50/50 item on if you get a fully functional one or not.

Great for the price
I realize these are knock offs, but the restrictor on my sticks reads "Sanwa" The cable that comes with them needed to be cut/spliced in my setup and the copper is VERY thin. For that reason, they might not be the simplest installation, but the rest of the components seem decent enough. If the switches ever fail, this will hold a replacement Sanwa board just fine.

Works fine on Arcade1Up Pac Man
Bought this for an Arcade1Up Pac Man machine because Arcade1Up did not have replacement joysticks available for some time. This joystick with the connector cable works as well as the original joystick.

Works, but for how long?
I had to order four before I got two working sticks, and changing out the switches is out of the question.
