Replacement for Moen T2901BN Gibson Posi-Temp Valve Trim Kit, Brushed Nickel

This product installed easily and looks great. My only issue so far is that the handle does not fit snugly to the Moen valve. There is considerable wobble on the stem. I missed my window to send it back so am going to have to live with it until anything else goes wrong.I wish to change my review.After looking at the handle again, I was able to tighten it fully. The issue was operator error! I apologize for the ×&%up.

This is a sleek shower handle. Easy to install and great quality material. No leaks and came at a great price.I am happy with the performance

I actually loved this piece, it is made very well and the material quality is great. I returned it because I was not updating all of the valves to make this fit but it was very nice. I would purchase if I were doing more than just a face-lift.

Trim kit came open and without instructions. All parts were in the box and the accessories bag was sealed so at least it wasn't used. This installed relatively easily and improved the look of the many decades old shower. Materials seem similar to the Moen pieces I removed.

Not happy with the quality of this product.

I had bought a different trim kit that claimed it was the correct fit, only to find it was not. So glad I found this one online. Looks great too.

Good quality, looks good in the shower

Pros- it’s an easy and inexpensive way to update your old chrome trim and Crystal handle without special tools or needing to cut into the wall. The adapter that goes on the stem is metal so seems sturdy. We used this kit in our guest bath to update the look on a budget.Cons- handle doesn’t sit close to the trim like it shows in pictures. The Crystal one wasn’t tight to the trim either but it was considerably closer than this. Because of this it feels sort of flimsy despite the handle being a nice quality and weight. It tends to loosen up after several turns.For the extra $20 I’ll get the manufacturer brand kit next time for our master bath which will get everyday use.

We installed this shower handle about 6 months ago and although it still works okay, the paint is now bubbling and peeling off. We’re very disappointed about the quality of this handle and now will have to replace it again.
