I've been purchasing this item through subscribe and save for a few years. I take saffron because I read somewhere that it is helpful for macular degeneration (AREDS). My retina doctor does not agree, but says it can't hurt and many MDs just don't practice holistic methods. As long as it is affordable, I will keep taking it twice a day just in case it helps as my eyesight from declining more with age. Saffron has many other health benefits (like brain function) that make it a staple in my diet!

Great improvement in my mood, mental state, and sleep patterns.Worked better than any medication I ever took.Should be required knowledge in school.

One a day, easy to swallow capsule. No odor or aftertaste. Recommended as a natural alternative along with B12 complex. Can’t say it’s working, but I also can’t say it’s not.

Good value for the money

I was talking to my therapist about psych meds. In general I don’t like them, but one time I took a medication and liked that ‘I felt like I could choose what to be concerned about.’ There were other effects that I didn’t like. Anyway, when I said that my therapist said "that’s exactly the reason I give when I recommend saffron," so I figured I’d give it a chance (after doing a little extra homework.)I’m on my second bottle. I don’t feel like I’m ’on anything", I don’t have any negative or other side effects, but I’m having an easier time navigating challenging situations, have been more productive from wasting less time, and just feel like I am making better decisions all around.For awhile I didn’t want to believe it was that easy, or that I needed a pill to feel better. I thought things were probably just going well for a bit. But now it’s been a few months and things just keep getting better, so I have to believe this supplement is helping.I chose this particular bottle because it lists the percentage of Safranal, in addition to the mg of the capsule. After reading how this stuff is cultivated I felt (this is 100% my opinion) that it’s possible to get saffron that’s processed with the ‘good stuff’ removed.

Been taking these everyday for about a week. Haven’t really noticed a difference so far so not sure how well they really work. I’ll keep taking them to see if they impact my mood in a positive way. For the time being I’m gong to give them 3 stars as they seem to be a good value. But only if they work!

Great product, great price. Haven't noticed much in the way of results yet though.
