Are the metal jacks a little heavy? Or light like plastic?

Not plastic. Seems a tid bit smaller. But, of course I was a child last time I played with them. Bought for grandkids so they could experience good ole fashion fun.

Where are these made?

Unfortunately they are made in China. I have a real vintage set of 6 jacks and these are not as good as my original ones. They are much smaller. I should have just purchased a new ball. I wish they were made in the USA. Maybe we will someday get it. If I knew they were from China I would not have purchased them.
