Go Indigo, Lake Michigan Leland Bluestone and Blue Lava Bead 24 Inch Necklace

I found this rare Leland Bluestone (rare blue slag glass stone) in Lake Michigan. Leland Bluestones are a vintage product that dates back to the 1880's and are becoming scarce. After drilling a 2.1 mm hole into the glass stone, I fed it onto a 24 inch stainless steel petite ball along with a lovely dyed blue lava bead. A dyed lava stone bead in similar color is also fed onto the chain. The stone measures just shy of 3/4 inch and you can compare its size as it sits atop a dime in the picture.
