Don't Buy This if you use Duplicate Checks
I use checks that have a carbon duplicate. This checkbook, although it is very sturdy and as otherwise described, does not have the usual flap that allows you to place it under a check so that the writing does not transfer through to the next check. I was very disappointed. If you use the duplicate checks, do not order this checkbook. I cannot use it.

This is a good one.
Good tough yet handsome checkbook cover. I don't like having someones name on my checkbook cover, so I set it up so Hunter Allen's name was on the back. I use this with a plastic duplicate cover ordered separately. It fits my needs. If you desire a leather checkbook cover, this one ought to last a lifetime.

Incorrect check cover shipped to me.
slots for checks and check register too small in the cover I received. This was reported in earlier reviews but apparently nothing changed. I didn't order the one I received but it was in my package instead of the one I ordered. I will use the one I got because too much trouble to return.

Awesome detail
Very attractive checkbook cover. The leather has a deeply grained texture to the finish. The leather is supple and soft. The color is great. Best of all; it is made in the USA.
