AIM Sports6 Round Side Shell Carrier Kit for Remington 870 Shotgun

This product didn't last 100 shells.It even had 0 shells in it while shooting.It literally was half way on, half way off. Yes, I tightened it. But the metal deformed during shooting and cause it to not even be attached anymore and caused a hazard. I had to forfeit the match.

The aluminum base plate that the screw threads into is too thin. The #10 screw ended up stripping the threads when I slowly tried tightening it. The 1/4" screws threaded holes thickness is adequate, (because of the larger diameter of the screw) but the #10 threaded hole is too thin for such a small screw. I own an aluminum scope mount designed to attach the same way on my 870 but it is a 1/16" thicker, I've had no problem with it so far. Also the plastic shell holders are too tight, it can not be used for fast reloading. This system can be used but you will have to modify it a lot. I bought this thinking that I would be able to use it on my 870 for a tactical shotgun course, (370 rounds in one day) but I was very disappointed in it's design flaws. Now that it's been modified with longer screws (the #10 mounted backwards with the hole drilled out) and using nylon locking nuts on both screws, I'm pretty confident that this will work, it doesn't look pretty though.

Love the item itself and was made very nice and easy to attach to my 870 express but once attached i could no longer rack a shell into the barrel. The forend ran into this product and I had to take it off.

Greatt side saddle. Comes off easy enough for storage but never feel like its gonna just fall off. I normally shoot slugs and it handles the recoil just fine. The detent ball really holds it firm

This product arrived in a timely manner. Install was easy. Just pushed the old pins out with the screws provided. Put the plate on the receiver and tighten screws to snug. Slide in holder. Metal plate. Plastic shell holder. Two screws. Allen wrench included. Shells fit a little tight I'm waiting to see if it loosens up. Haven't shot with it yet but it seems like it would hold up.

Broke the plastic locking tab after one shot of walmart target load, very cheap design. Emailed the seller no reply acknowledged or replacement. All in all, waste of money, very unfortunate. it looked pretty cool on the side of my 870 :( now its trashola

Well built, came with everything need to mount. Only problem is it says it fits Remington 870 but it didn't fit mine because I have the 870 express turkey and it didn't find because when installed the slide comes back to far and it's it and won't allow my shells to eject or cock the gun. Please fix your description to show that will only fit 870 express and 870 tactical.

Doesn't work on the Express Magnum, the fore end can't rack all the way back because it bumps into the carrier. Checked and my old cruiser 870 won't work with it for the same reason.
