Good quality, great value ABS filament
What do I look for in 3D printing filament?* good adhesion between layers* ability to feed cleanly into the extruder* low moisture* uniform filament diameter* sensitivity to thermal decompositionGood layer adhesion is a function of extruder temperature, extruder speed and the polymer glass transition temperature. Neighboring deposited material must melt as the just-extruded material touches it. A wide glass transition temperature helps. If the glass transition temperature is too wide then the material stretches after it is laid down leading to failed bridging. On this filament the glass transition temperature is wide.Ability to feed cleanly into the extruder is critical. If you get plugging, the print fails. The filament extrudes cleanly into an 0.5 mm nozzle.Low moisture is important to a good looking print and affects the apparent extruder temperature. If moisture is present, the extruder needs to boil the water leading to pinpoint bubbles in the print. Higher extruder temperatures are needed because the polymer is cooler than the extruder body. If the moisture is really high, the extruded material looks grainy because not all of the polymer has melted. For the first few weeks, this was a problem.Uniform filament diameter affect show the print looks. Most of 3D printer users work on the edge of over-extrusion. Narrow diameter filaments need to have low tolerance values to avoid issues with under and over extrusion. I am continually adjusting the filament diameter in my slicer with this filament. My guess is that the draw tension wasn't sufficiently uniform during extrusion. The filament is reasonably resistant to thermal decomposition. I can leave it in the extruder for 30 minutes at 260C with only minimal decomposition. I had that happen when a problem occurred with pronterface. I don't recommend testing thermal decomposition with your extruder.Other attributes:opaque whitegood UV resistance (no yellowing and no brittleness)extruder temperature 260, bed temperature 105 ( on the hot side for ABS )The filament gets a 4/5 for diameter uniformity and moisture content. Knowing what I'm in for, I would buy it again when the price is <17.

Working great for me
This is working out great for me. I'm currently printing some large parts for a custom-built robot, using this spool for the body. The parts look great with no warping. Unfortunately, it's not available anymore so I can't re-order more. But, I should have enough to finish what I need it for.
