Placed on top of balcony wrought iron to keep the birds away and it has worked.

Wish they were taller
I had hope for these, but these pigeons are ruthless. They didn't not care about the spikes and began a new nest on top. I wish I would've purchased taller spikes.

Unfortunately it failed
It failed for our purpose to keep squirrels off the feeder, lined the spikes all over the dome in hopes of a triumph. I don’t think the product would be a fail if used for doves
