It’s much better than the regular open pit. I can only get it on Amazon. It is extremely difficult to find in a store.

I have always purchased Open Pit BBQ Sauce, I love the flavors and I don't understand why it is not sold in every store every where. I moved from Illinois where it's sold at every store that I shopped to Phoenix where I can't find it any where. I hate that one of my favorite products is so hard to find, so I ordered a case to last me a long time without anymore worries looking for it. I don't have to do anything to this sauce, I just eat it right out of the bottle.

use this as my base to make my own sauce , great flavor . or you can use straight from the bottle .

This is the original BBQ sauce we grew up on. Was looking to buy a barbeque sauce for the summer and noted the ingredients. Check out the first ingredient:High Fructose Corn SyrupNutritionists recommend that you stay away from high fructose corn syrup. Dr. Andrew Weill, Dr. Oz and Michael Pollan - all supporters of eating healthy - recommend you not eat HFCS. You may wish to google their comments on the substance. I don't know of any nutritionist who says it's nutritious and healthy.Found Stubbs BBQ sauce here on Amazon which doesn't use High Fructose Corn Syrup as an ingredient which is very tasty. It would be great if Open Pit would come out with a healthier version of their BBQ sauce which didn't involve high fructose corn syrup as a primary ingredient. Like the flavor of their sauce and would buy a healthier version of it.
