AspectsBird Feeders Hummzinger Hummingbird Nectar Guard Tips (Pack of 2)

They may not be for all feeders but they work great on mine. The birds are a bit hesitant at first but once they figure out there’s nectar in there they do very well.

These are great for keeping insects from crawling into flat feeders. You do have to watch that mold doesn’t collect in them during humid times, but if you change the food every couple of days during hot and humid times it isn’t a problem. It can easily be cleaned out with a small brush if needed.

These fit my Zinger hummer feeder perfect

I have used HummZinger hummingbird feeders for a number of years, but I had purchased them directly from their "Aspect" website and not from Amazon. At that time, the nectar guards were included with the feeders and came in the same packages. The feeders and nectar guards worked beautifully. My hummingbirds seemed to love the feeders. Not long ago, I did purchase a new HummZinger feeder from Amazon; it was the HummZinger 12-ounce High View. When I opened the package, I looked for nectar guards but none were provided. It wasn't a big deal, really, because I thought I would simply search for some nectar guards online. I found these nectar guards on Amazon and carefully read everything in the description to be sure they would fit on my new feeder. Well, unfortunately, they didn't fit. They are too small. I tried every possible way to get them on, but with no luck. (I bought two packages to have on hand for the future.) I went back and read the Amazon description, and the only thing I think may be the problem is that the "HummZinger High View Feeder" might come in a few different sizes and these nectar guards actually DO fit those sizes; they just do not fit my 12-ounce size. I am really disappointed. These nectar guards by HummZinger were absolutely amazing when I used them before. Bees and wasps would do their best to climb through the feeder openings to get to the nectar, but they could never do it because of the nectar guards. I had some very frustrated need and wasps!....LOL I really didn't want to give these nectar guards low ratings because the product itself is wonderful. It really is. I only left the low ratings as a warning to potential buyers to make sure they have the correct feeders or these will not fit. I will keep on searching to find the correct size to fit my new HummZinger feeder. Just be sure you read the entire description before you order these. If they fit your feeder, you will LOVE them!

I'm Sorry that I bought two of these, I wanted to use them in all of my humming bird feeders, but they only fit in one.

Keeps underireable insects out

Some people complained about caps not fitting their feeders. I took a chance on these caps and they fit perfectly. I do have the older model of feeder though.

They make big difference on how much the bees hang aeound

They fit fine on my saucer typer feeder, but hummingbirds refused to feed after I put these on.I see them a lot, but for 3 weeks I kept changing the nectar but the levels never went down.Finally took them off and they got right back to using the feeder. So I'm returning these.

It does not fit an Audubon feeder and the single window feeders. For the price it was unacceptable.

A friend suggested I get these to go with my hummzinger feeder but found they do not attach to the ports on my hummzinger as they are designed for the Humzinger Ultra and fancy hummingbird feeders. Apparently they work well on the Ultra, my friend said. 3 stars because it didn’t work for me but really I should be getting the three stars for not reading description properly!
