I wasn’t so sure this would add value to the lefse making process but it absolutely did! My daughter and I both found it useful.

Nothing else compares for Lefse
I have my dough chilled in balls and ready to roll. I flour my pastry board and rolling pin. I roll out my first lefse super thin and delicate and ready for the griddle. Then, I unsheathe my Bethany Housewares Lefse Stick from my hip and hear angels sing. Lightning strikes behind me as thunder rolls through my kitchen. With a smooth and effortless motion I lift the lefse, as if its gently hugging the stick, and place it onto the hot griddle. No tears No problem. And so it begins, the first Lefse of my batch, it's going to be a good day.

Finally able to make lefse the way I was raised
If you've never made lefse then you probably look at this and think... wow its a stick. And while there are some basic truths to that statement... it is so much more. Trying to turn lefse with anything else has proven to be tedious and frustrating. Finally I can flip my lefse like my mama taught me!!

A good wide lefse stick
My wife and I used this during our church's Lefse making party. We like that it's wider than our first Lefse stick, but it is a bit on the thin side, which when making Lefse is a good thing, I have concerns that it may get damaged (during the storage stage of it's life, not during Lefse making). The sheath is very nice and perhaps will give it the protection it needs during storage. It was a last minute xmas gift and arrived before expected.

Simple and Beautiful
Beautiful! I had ordered this as I thought I lost my other one in a move. Found the old one in a box after this one arrived. Decided to keep this one because it is cute with the little design on the handle, and the sleeve will make sure it won't get dirty during the off time. Sturdy and easy to clean.
