Swift and Sweet
Incredible! This splitter is fast and slick. Didn't have any trouble splitting through every type of wood I had from elm and locust to maple and oak.Only issue I have is the stand. Not the drop stand as in the picture but the crank wheel type, which actually is the ideal stand for me. It's mounted just so the crank handle swings just a 1/4" from the catch tray. Banged my knuckles good the first time I tried to raise the stand.Other than that, anyone with a little common sense and mechanical ability should have no problem assembling it as long as you have a friend who can help you attach the beam to the chassis. DON'T DO IT ALONE!
