This really makes a difference in hair quality, even after the first use. It will turn dry, tangly hair into soft, healthy looking hair. I'm not sure about how well it thickens hair, but the ingredients definitely help repair of the damage.

Having a thyroid issue, I am aware of the possibility of rapidly thinning hair. So far I have not had too much of an issue but I keep an eye on how much hair is sitting on the drain after a shower. Using this shampoo, I am seeing less hair on the floor of the shower. It is harder to tell from looking at my hair but if I am losing less, the result has to be visible eventually. The shampoo has a very subtle and pleasant smell. It is a bit thinner than I am used to but I don't find myself using more. Often a sulfate free shampoo requires more to create a lather but this doesn't seem to be true with the biotin. I like how my hair feels when dry, silky and smooth. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I have not noticed any dryness in my hair. I do live in a very humid climate though and that may be the difference. I also swim several laps several times a week and sometimes have trouble getting the chlorine out of my hair. This shampoo seems to do very well at handling the chlorine, much better than some of the other brands I have used. The bottle is easy to open and close, an important but sometimes overlooked issue. I can open or close with my eyes shut if need be. I also like knowing that I am using a product that is healthy for my hair.

I started to notice some increased hair loss in the shower and some thin patches when I was fixing my hair, which is why I ordered this shampoo and the conditioner. Since I started using it, I have noticed the difference in the thickness and texture of my hair. I'm not losing as much as I was each time I wash my hair. I did combine this with some other changes (vitamins, less heat when styling, etc.) so that probably also contributed to the improvements to be fair. But still, I'm happy with this product and have ordered it again. The shampoo and conditioner leave my hair feeling very soft and healthy. The shampoo suds up pretty well and it smells ok. It's not like the fruity scents you would get with other, cheaper shampoos, but it is a pleasant, clean smell. It also lasted me longer than I expected. I was worried about how small the bottles were since this is more than what I would normally pay for shampoo and conditioner and I didn't want to run out every month. I bought this two months ago and just ordered some more, but I'm not completely out of my first bottles yet. I wash my hair every few days and I have long hair (well past my shoulders) so I'm pleased with how much I got out of it.

I have fine hair that is becoming thinner due to some necessary medication. This shampoo is OK for cleaning hair, aroma is OK, but it cannot cause hair to grow. NO shampoo can cause hair growth because it is external, and hair growth occurs within the body. Just ask your hair stylist -- mine told me that the only way biotin can (possibly) cause hair to grow is if you consume it as a nutritional supplement. The most a shampoo can do is clean the hair and make it easier or more difficult to work with, and possibly more likely or less likely to be dry and brittle and subject to breakage. This product is also very expensive. Somehow I misread the listing and thought the price was for two bottles, probably because both a box and a bottle were pictured. The bottle I received was not in a box, but rather in a thin plastic sleeve that was not intact. There was an inner seal beneath the bottle cap, so no leaking occurred. Try it if you want, but I am giving this three stars because of its excessive cost and misleading representation.
