Solid Start utilizes Giant Pacific Kelp (Macrocystis Integrifolia), Norwegian kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum), along with extra nitrogen and potassium, to promote growth in a plant’s vegetative phase. Growing at a rate of up to two feet per day, Giant Pacific Kelp is one of the fastest growing organisms on Earth. The extract from this remarkable gift of nature has been shown to promote strong root and vegetative growth. Kelp is rich in auxins, which regulate cell elongation and stimulate adventitious rooting and induce apical dominance. Additional responses generated by auxins are: an improvement of floral development, increased fruit setting and cell expansion. Solid Start must be used in conjunction with Growth Science Base A and Base B to give plants the building blocks needed to create the large root and leaf structure responsible for heavy yields. Use Solid Start to create a large framework of flowering sites, then switch to Rock Solid to feed your flowers.

Excellent for growth
I purchased the Growth Science Nutrients lineup after trying out a very popular, but expensive and extensive nutrient lineup. Admittedly I was hesitant to switch due to the results I had been getting with Advanced Nutrients but after reading the reviews on Growth Science Nutrients I felt a try was worth it. My order came quickly, and I was soon followed up with by Filip the owner of Starlight Trade LLC (The Seller). Filip wanted to make sure I had received my products timely, and that I was satisfied with the product. I mentioned I had just begun to use the product so it would take a week or so to see how my plants reacted but I would let him know. I mentioned I would be running Growth Science Nutrients in a side by side grow against Advanced Nutrients with all factors being the same in order to make a fair assessment of the outcome. Filip suggested that if I am going to do a fair comparison I run the full line of Growth Science to see the full results. He then sent me the final two nutrients I needed to complete my lineup (strength and Rock Solid) and make a fair comparison. I have to say, of all the different vendors I have dealt with and nutrient lineups I have used, this one is by far the least complicated. I have 5 parts to the Growth Science formula vs almost 15 in my Advanced Nutrients lineup, not only saving me time but also money. Also the feeding chart is very straight forward and simple, and for the cost the size of each of the nutrient additives is generous. My advanced nutrients sometimes cost close to $20 for the smallest of the additives. Which given how many there are can really make for an expensive investment. Growth Science seems to have latched onto this and realized that by providing customers with a solid performing, straightforward and inexpensive nutrient system, they can grow (forgive my pun) in this nutrient business. Rightfully so. I am not knocking Advanced Nutrients, I have had great success with their lineup, but if I can get the same or better results with less hassle and less out of pocket, why not?Yesterday the last two pieces of my Growth Science Nutrients came, and thus far since beginning my initial feedings of Base A and B, and the Solid Start, I can tell a difference in growth. The two plants I fed have grown 6 inches in 2 days, and I have not yet even yet started adding in the last two parts of the lineup. I am thus far impressed. The plants reacted well, there are no signs of nutrient burn even when used at the suggested rate of feeding. Typically, I do ½ the suggested amount when trying out a new nutrient lineup because in the past I have had the suggested amounts prove far too strong for the plants, but not with Growth Science. My plants are loving it, and so am I. I intend to begin my side by side comparison in the next few weeks, but for now the two plants I am feeding Growth Science are really taking off. I will update my review as time goes by, but so far I am very impressed.

Good Product and great value
Good Product and great value. Combine this with Base A and either Solid Start or Rock Solid depending on your stage of growth. Easy to follow instructions on both the bottle and included in description by Seller. Base A and B with Solid Start for Seedlings- saw new healthy growth on 2 week old seedlings with 24 hours after feeding. Root expansion and stem thickening beyond expectations after 3 days. So far the experience has been great!

Great stuff!
I tested this product on a few Nitrogen defecint plants, I noticed a difference 3 hours after watering, all plants started to green up. in 48 hours plant health was great, 72 hours and the look better than they ever did.

Healthy vegetating plants is the key to great flowers. This product line is great. I recommend using rock solid for flower also.

So far so good, used the solid start combination with base a and base b to germinate and start my seedlings. Tomato plants look great so far, incredibly green! 10/10 would buy again!
