I sent them back and went with a higher quality model. These were just bad all around

These were too cheap. They arrived fast of course, but I tried to install the first one. I had to watch several ways to install it on YouTube.I made these Roman shades, and had intended to install these with them to make it easier to raise and lower the shades each day.I thought I did just what was shown, and for a little while..a week or so, it seemed to work…then it didn’t . And the everyday, it was like a battle to get the thing to work right. So I only installed the first one, and because it didn’t do well, I threw the rest away. These are too cheaply made, I doubt that it was the way I installed it. I wish I had spent a little more and gotten a better product…lesson learned I hope. Don’t know what “stretch” and “sheerness” are, but these are sturdy, well manufactured replacement cord locks. Easily installed with standardized hole placements. And they are heavier than the ones that broke.

I liked everything about these locks except that I didn't know you need to purchase a cord that is large enough not to slip over the side of the lock. Finally learned it from a YouTube video.

Perfect match for replacement, took 5 minutes to replace. Cheaper than buying new shades,
