Raspberry Pi SenseHAT (AstroPi) with HAT Enclosure

It is a neat product and there are a number of websites with example code. There are API reference sites. The sensehat emulator is a great way to start "playing" with it before you actually receive it.I probably won't get much use from the temperature sensors and the LED Matrix. The temperature sensors are affected by the processor on the Pi. So don't expect readings anywhere close. You will find algorithms that suggest applying a portion of the CPU temperature as a bias but it's still not accurate. Regarding the LED matrix, you can't really do much with an 8x8 matrix other than making pretty colors. Scrolling numbers or letters across an 8x8 matrix becomes laborious rather quickly.

Cover did not fit over the sensehat and close as shown. Though I do like it as a case to carry for swapping out hats easy and fast. Other than the cover issue with the sensehat I like the item.

Love the enclosure. But it needed to be an 1/8" taller as the clear plastic cover will not close completely on the side by the tactile switch. If you force it, it pushes the switch and causes all kinds of problems. Someone should update this enclosure to account for the switch post. Other than that, it's a cool enclosure.

Great product to accompany Raspberry Pi 3!

I love the idea, but how does it affect the Temp & Humitidy reading being in such close & closed proximity to the warm/hot Raspbery Pi board?
