Puzzle Press Migrant Mother Edition 3 Jigsaw Adult Puzzle, 1000-Piece, Black and White Photo

It's very challenging indeed.As I stated on 19 January it was very challenging. It took me 6 weeks to, almost, complete this puzzle.But, I was very disappointed to find out that there was one piece missing. I believe that, because of its difficulty, what I received was a puzzle that had been returned. I state this because when I started working on it there were two, three and, even one, four piece already connected. I don’t recall ever working on a puzzle that had 3 or 4 pieces already connected. Found this to be very odd.I’m debating whether or not to get the Spaceman puzzle. Don’t want to be disappointed after weeks of work. Downgrading from a 5 to a 3 star.

Boy howdy, the seller isn't kidding when they say this puzzle is "extremely difficult." I love 1000-piece puzzles, and can usually finish them in 3-5 days. As much as I wanted to stick with Migrant Mother to the end, I had to give up on this one 1/3 of the way through. Neck and shoulder pain prevented me from going any further. The iconic black and white Migrant Mother photo is awesome, but the monotone theme does make it more difficult than most puzzles. This surprised me, because I've done plenty of landscapes with little tonal variations that didn't affect me like trying to do Migrant Mother.That said, the construction and quality of Puzzle Press's jigsaw puzzles is very good. Pieces are a little thinner than I like, but I found that the stiffness was excellent, and peeling up of layers was very minimal. I'm happy to recommend Puzzle Press. They build good quality puzzles and prices are very reasonable. Just gather a few puzzle partners before you try to tackle one like this!

If you do not want a challenging puzzle, then dont buy it. And dont leave mediocre 3 stars because it took you 3 month to put it together. This is hard work puzzle, and there is hardly anything that would prompt me to give less than 5 stars. Yes, some pieces were a little bent jn corners and yes, some slabs were still together. I usually start with the frame of a puzzle and because i need to find a flat side pieces, i go through each one and separate those that are still stuck togeher from the factory. The pieces are not thin as some have stated. They are of appropriate thinkness as with other brand puzzles. This is my second 1000 piece from this brand, and as with my first one (the guy in space), i was ready to give up. There is no fun in that, so i am up for a challenge so hopefully as i am getting ready to finish the immigrant mother, i will have a pineapple in a saimming pool image next.

Returned too small pieces.

This puzzle was a challenge, so many gray shades to work through. The spaceman puzzle was hard as some of the edge space pieces were variations of black. The pieces on this one were easier to see but finding their location was tough, took me a good week on and off to complete.

I recently completed this puzzle which I purchased for myself for Christmas. It was challenging but I am an old hand at difficult jigsaws and was able to complete it with minimal hassle. I really enjoyed it and can't wait to assemble the Space puzzle that I purchased along with it!

Another puzzle that came in a timely manner and a awesome gift!!

I was really excited to get this puzzle. I have always loved this picture and what it represents. It is extremely difficult however. The shading has such minor differences that it is really hard to identify where the pieces go. I like the challenge but it was a little more than I expected. The main reason I am not giving this a 5 star is because the pieces fit very tight and if you need to detach them they rip easily. The cardboard layers pulled apart on numerous pieces when taking this apart. I like puzzle that fit tight but they not when it causes them to rip when disassembling it. Otherwise, I really enjoyed the puzzle.
