This 36-inch island range hood is both stylish and highly functional. The stainless steel design with the curved tempered glass instantly upgraded the look of our kitchen and gives it a modern, high-end feel. The color touch screen is very intuitive, and the gesture control is surprisingly useful—especially when your hands are messy while cooking. The 700 CFM suction power is impressive. It clears smoke, grease, and strong cooking odors quickly, even when cooking multiple dishes at once. Despite the power, it runs much quieter than expected, so conversations can continue without being drowned out by noise. I also appreciate the dual installation option. We went with ducted, but it’s great knowing it can be converted to ductless if needed. The stainless steel filters feel sturdy and are easy to remove and clean. The four LED lights are bright and evenly illuminate the cooking area, and the delay-off feature is a nice touch to ensure lingering odors are fully cleared after cooking. Overall, this range hood delivers excellent performance, modern features, and a sleek design. It’s a great value for anyone looking to upgrade their island kitchen setup.

I love the new island vent over my stovetop. It looks sleek and modern. The lights come on and go off with a wave of my hand. The vent fans work much more efficient and quieter than my old one. The lights are bright and improved the overall look in my small kitchen. I need an instruction manual. I didn’t find one when unpacking, it either wasn’t there or got thrown out with the packaging. I can’t work the touch pad without instructions. My contractor installed it without complications.

Wondering how LOUD this is? I was too! After installation, I used a sound pressure meter to record the decibel level of each fan speed (see attached reference chart). HIGH = 45 dB, MEDIUM = 41 dB, LOW = 32 dB These measurements were taken 2 feet from the front of the cooktop with the meter held 5 feet off the floor and pointed upward toward the exhaust hood at a 45° angle. I should mention that I purchased a near identical model 14 years ago. This new model is slightly more powerful, has some silly hand-motion features that mostly work (that I won't use) and is arguably better in every way except the new chimney is a much thinner gauge metal with square corners and double seams similar to the cheap duct work under your house (I tossed the new chimney out and reused the old seamless chimney with rounded edges and heavier gauge metal as shown in video). Most people won't care and they shouldn't. I read reviews that complained of the flexible 6" duct inside the chimney making noise, so I tossed that out too and reused the original 6" solid metal pipe. One improvement that I hope works well is the newly designed grease trap style filters. The old aluminum mesh screen probably wasn't as good of a design for removing grease from the air. BOTH styles should be removed and run though your dishwasher every week, in any case. Overall, I'm very pleased and hope that it lasts for a while even though it actually costs a bit LESS than the near identical model purchased in 2011. Hope this helps!

It's a very modern and stylish stove vent. We love the features that allow you to control the speed of the venting. It's a very quiet unit as well. Say nothing about the price—it is very affordable and of good quality. We highly recommend it.

Worked for 15 mins then fan stopped working. Makes a humming sound as if the fan is trying to spin but doesn’t. Such a headache to go through the install then have to replace it.

Seller had to resend me a new unit because the glass hood was shattered. They responded quickly and sent a new unit via Fed ex. Not for novice DIY installation but doable if you are handy

On pourrait améliorer facilement la qualité en prévoyant une ouverture pour passer le câble d’alimentation et surtout réécrire le manuel d’installation. Range hood

Looks nice, good ventilation and I like that the filters can be put through the dishwasher (I haven’t tried that yet - just washing by hand so far). It was very difficult to install. Fortunately my installer had done some of a similar type before and figured it out. It took much longer than it should have had the instructions been clearer. I still haven’t figured out how to set the clock, but the timer is a great feature. I always set it for 15 minutes after I turn off the gas to make sure there is no moisture in the roof vents. So far, it’s been very nice.

Absolutely pisspoor instructions, why not have a video? How can a person clean the fan drum? Any instructions? Plastic seems hard to remove. The flanges of flexible pipe are exactly same size as flanges on fan and rigid pipes. Cannot slide them over the ends. To run the electrical wires you'll need to drill a hole in the plate for wire to run through. Instructions on how to clean the blades from the fan. Manufacturer is completely useless for instructions.
