A must for dry mouth!
As a dental hygienist I have recommended this product to my patients who have dry mouth & Sjogren’s for many years. I had never personally use Xylimelts myself until I was prescribed a medication that made my mouth Sahara Desert dry to where my lips stuck to my dry gums making it difficult to talk! Xylimelts completely solve that problem! I wear one on each side of my upper molars on days I work where I am talking throughout my shift. Wear one at a time on my days off & 2 at nighttime as the mouth produces less saliva then. They adhere securely & last me 2 hours during my work day & all night while sleeping. I love recommending products that contain xylitol for cavity protection. I tell my patients with dry mouth to purchase Xylimelts ASAP. If they seem on the fence about them, I’ll pop one out of my stash & stick it on their gum after their cleaning. That’s how important I feel using this product is for dry mouth suffers.

Great Mint Flavor, better mouth profile
Unlike others, I prefer these to the Zylimelts. I like the fact that the flavor is stronger and it's a good mint flavor. it has a little bit of a zing to it but it hasn't hurt my mouth. I find that these give me a better mouth feel than either Zylimelts or the Rite Aid brand which is what I was using before. I chose Rite Aid over Zylimelts because they had a better flavor and mouthfeel and were less expensive the Zylimelts, which left a scummy film in my mouth. Zylimelts are bit larger too & they hurt my mouth from their hard edges & size. Zylimelts leave a yucky coating in my mouth but didn't moisturize anywhere near as well as either Rite Aid or these Freshmelts. These have a lower height & more rounded edges so they don't hurt as much as the others. Fresh melts are also less expensive than the other two. Mostly Zylimelts had difficulty melting because they just don't moisturize well. Even my 99 year old Mom preferred Rite Aid over Zylimelt. Sadly she passed away before I discovered these wonderful FreshMelts.Personally I would suggest if this flavor is too strong for you, see if they come in another flavor, or try the Rite Aid brand of Zylimelts, called "oral care dry mouth discs" in mint flavor also available here on Amazon. They don't have as rounded a top edge as OraCoat's 2 products but they definitely moisturize better than Zylimelts, in my opinion & I think they come in another flavor too. FreshMelts definitely have the most mit flavor, thanks to the mint oil in them, which is what irritates some people. I haven't had that issue & prefer the tingle & freshness, which makes these much better for daytime use as well & lasts longer than Pur mints or Therabreath's dry mouth lozenges (tho sensitive mouths avoid their mandarin mint, it's extremely zingy, maybe even acidic, at least even I only use if out of everything else because of how strong the zing is - which is probably why they were so much cheaper than other flavors. Ha ha. Time before I got another flavor & while tingly, wasn't bad. For Nighttime however, nothing beats the adhesive disc melts. I vote Freshmelts best for good strong flavor, best comfort/size profile & also cheapest, always a plus for me!

Great Flavor
I purchased these mints for use at work after lengthy dry mouth from conversations. The flavor is refreshing and strong, leaving the breath pleasant and mouth feeling clean. However, the mint sticks to your gums and other teeth bad. I actually have to use my finger to pry it off the inside portions of my gums, teeth and mouth. The mint also dissolves very quickly and crumbles. It does keep the clean breath feeling for a period of time. The uncomfortable use is why I would think again before making any future purchases.

Life changing
So my mouth is like a desert while sleeping. And when I wake up, it feels horrible. These little guys change all that. They stick REALLY WELL in your mouth. And seem to last too. Not crazy about flavor, but that is non issue when compared to how well these things work. Also added benefit. Discourages night snacking with due to the mint taste in my mouth.

Huge Disappointment & Waste of $17.09
I have been using "OraCoat XyliMelts Dry Mouth Relief Oral Adhering Discs Slightly Sweet with Xylitol" everynight for years. They work like a charm and I wake up feeling fresh and ready for the day. When I saw "Oracoat® FreshMelts® Fresh Breath Stick-on™ Melts" I was super excited. I was hoping they would be a little more minty and similiar to the XyliMelts, but saddly they are not. The Freshmelts do not have a good taste, something was just off with the flavor (chemical?). They did not help moisten my mouth like XyliMelts do. Adhering well is honestly the is only positive thing. Because the XyliMelts have been such an amazing product, I purchased the 160 count for $17.09 and I am unable to return them. I really expected more from Oracoat. I would NOT recommend this product.

As many have stated they are too strong
A lot of people said these had too strong a mint flavor, but since I love mint I figured I'd give them a try. Won't make that mistake again. My mom introduced me to the ones with no flavor and they work great so I will be going back to those. On the plus side most nights I can get by with using only one and they still work great. Strongly recommend the unflavored ones, and try using only 1 and see how that works for you, because with 2 I need a new pillow case in the morning and my face feels like it's covered with glue from the dry drool. I keep them on my night stand for the rare occasion I need a second one.
