Lew Electric PUR15-S Round Countertop Pop Up 15 Amp Receptacles with USB Ports - Stainless Steel

We recently cut down our 2 tier kitchen counter and with only one level - where do you put the outlets? Solution - pop up countertop outlet. When not in use - it is a stainless steel round disc on the counter - not in the way at all or hindering anything. We are so happy we put this in. Not only does it have regular outlets but also USB ports so perfect for many plug ins.

This was a defective and very expensive unit. It does not pop up and the seller refuses to replace it.

So far we are impressed. We put this pop up outlet in our large island. Works great. The USB ports charge just like a regular charging hub. The mechanism is smooth. It is easy to clean. I cannot figure out how to place the included ring around the base to make it "waterlproof" but so far (3months) we haven't had any issues. Thus was over $100 cheaper than one that my kitchen guy bought for his island and I think is the same quality.

Our kitchen designer wanted to use a huge 14" tall popup but I found this as it is much shorter. It looks ok, but since you need to press it to pop up there is a gap below the cover when in the closed position making it over 1/4" tall when closed. My wife doesn't like it and I'm not thrilled either as it breaks up our nice counter. We should have found a way to have an outlet on the side of our cabinets somehow. Oh and it's way over priced, $50-80 would be more appropriate.

I put in 2 of these in our new kitchen island 3 months ago. They were super easy to install once the holes were drilled. Cords were longer than they need to be. They work well. Make sure you have plenty of space under the counter for when they are down. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because they seem ridiculously overpriced. They are basically odd-shaped power strips.

I love the quality and easeness of use. I installed in my new remodeled kitchen and it not only convenient but adds the luxury to your kitchen.

Unfortunately I really wanted this to work for our kitchen remodel but it’s extremely long (which means you lose cabinet space below) and it’s so heavy that it doesn’t really pop up, you actually have to pull it up.Another problem is that the photo shows all regular outlets but then we received one that had plugs for USB-c ports which might make sense for others but since mine was for kitchen I really just wanted regular outlets. Seller said “this is the new model, Amazon description is wrong” and that was it. Once we realized this, we popped it back into the box and send it back. Seller then charged me a $50 “restock” fee even tho we barely took the item out of the box.If you’re having doubts, don’t even bother with this one.

Hesitated at first due to the cost but it's well worth it. We remodeled our kitchen and it's in the middle of our large kitchen island. So cool that it can just pop up when needed and then hide when not in use.
