Works well and assembles in minutes. They include two wrenches so you can install the included nuts and bolts. I like that it is held together this way and it seems extremely sturdy and well made. It is all metal except for the handle pads. The hand tool comes as one piece and is easy to use. The size is great. The two work well and are easy to use.

This hand tiller is extremely sturdy and durable. Made from heavy-duty materials. The design is ergonomic, with a comfortable handle. But the real magic happens when you start using it in the garden, it breaks up compacted soil, making it easier to prepare flower beds and raised beds for planting. The claw-like tines go deep into the earth, loosening it up and aerating it. This not only improves soil structure but also promotes better drainage and root growth for my plants. One of the best features is the adjustable width of the tiller. With a simple twist, I can customize the width to suit the size of my flower box or raised bed, allowing for precise tilling. This level of versatility is invaluable to work in tight spaces. Cleanup is a breeze with this tiller as well. The smooth surface of the tines prevents dirt from clinging to them, and a quick rinse with water is all it takes to keep the tool looking like new. In conclusion, durability, ease of use, and effectiveness make it a must-have for any gardener.

I needed to till up some grassy areas before planting. Motorized tillers weren’t something I wanted to invest in as it will likely be a one time, or varied smaller use tool. This was cheaper than renting a tiller for the day so I gave it a shot Overall it gets the job done. With the caveat it’s not really for those on the taller side. Might just be me, but I had expected it to be a bit taller. The addition of two extra bolts in the package, almost makes me think it actually is meant to be but more on that in a sec. For my over 6ft frame, it doesn’t reach my waist. So expect some bending if you’re in the 5’7” and up range. Assembly was nearly a breeze. The tiller portion required pressing in hard enough it scrapped some paint of to get it fixed. Once together though, the foot press makes it drop into southern clay like “butta” and the handles are surprisingly extra comfortable. I avoided any hand discomfort with over 100 holes prepped with this thing. With a bit of effort you can twist and remove the top layer of grass as I needed for my purposes. Making multiple circular passes with you foot definitely helps the final twist. Again this is where the height of the product becomes an issue. Different muscle groups required to twist this when bent over compared to when standing up right. I liked they include two mm wrenches needed for tightening the bolts. Little extra steps like that just show a good product team since not everyone may have a 13&14mm wrench. I wouldn’t use them for working on my car but definitely worth keeping around for smaller projects. My suggestion though is to grab a socket wrench to help get the bolts really tight because if not. The handle will twist given the amount of effort it takes. At least in my soil type. In a typical flower bed, the effort should be much less. Brings me back to the size. Each section takes two bolts and by coincidence. Two extra bolts are included which if it had an extra section… would make this the perfect height for me. However, I’m not exactly sure what these are for since the picture on the tag shows just one section. These aren’t small bolts so the extras in case you lose one scenario doesn’t seem to fit. Maybe they are for if you damage the other 4 somehow, or purchase an extension?? Who knows, overall though it’s done the job and woke up some sleeping muscles in the process. It will become one of those shed tools to hang out when or if I ever need it again and the price was a small percentage of the overall project. Wish I could only knock it half a star for ease of use since other than the height issue. Its perfectly suited for what I needed.

This product was a game changer for me. I was wanting to pull a whole bunch of day lilies from my backyard that had become a nuisance and I didn’t want to pull them all by hand (there were 100’s and they kept splitting and making more). I tried various tools and methods before coming across this one. As soon as I opened the package I knew I had a winner. It was very easy to assemble and even came with wrenches making it that much easier. It was sturdy and very well built and surprisingly not very heavy either. I was able to dig deep and it held up even on hard soil. I also liked that I could twist and rock it sideways and pulled most of the roots and buds all in one chunk without having to pull them all by hand. It did work better in moist soil so I did water the area prior to using it. But again, it works in dry hard soil as well. This has become one of my favorite tools around the yard and definitely a game changer for me.

Works perfectly for areas my tiller could not fit! The height is perfect (I am 5'6') it is light weight and very sturdy, well constructed and a great price! So much faster than hoeing or using a trowel! Perfect for small beds and is an excellent tool for pulling grass from the roots!

This little garden claw has been a real lifesaver for my raised beds! The anti-slip foot plate is genius - I can really dig into the soil without feeling like I'm gonna slip and face-plant into my tomatoes. The curved handle is comfy to grip and makes twisting it through the dirt a breeze. Those sharp tines are no joke - they slice through my clay-heavy soil like its butter. I've been using it to mix in some compost and it does the job nicely. The long handle is great for reaching those tricky spots without having to bend over and kill my back. It's a good size for my raised beds and works well around my flower boxes too. Now, it's not all sunshine and roses. It can be a bit of a workout if you've got a lot of ground to cover, and it does struggle a bit with really compacted soil. I accidentally left it out in the rain once and it got a bit rusty, so make sure to store it properly. The assembly was a bit fiddly too - took me a couple tries to get it right. But once it's together, it feels pretty solid. It's definitely made my gardening easier, especially in those tight spaces where my big tools don't fit. If you've got raised beds or small garden areas, this tool might be worth checking out. Just don't expect it to replace a full-size tiller for big jobs!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Saves my back

For the price this is a pretty good garden tool. Sturdy enough to get through most soil types. I use it to stir compost, to mix garden soil with various fertilisers, and to loosen hardened ground near trees and in the garden. I don't think it would last long with very hard, or compounded clay like soil but it has handled the compacted soil areas in our Canberra location quite well. Happy with this purchase.
