Can't find these in any store anymore
Needed these for an old house line phone. Finally, my phone is working again.

Reliable AAA Ni-MH batteries 750mAH, great for their wireless phone handsets
Factory replacement for the Panasonic wireless (landline) phone system that we (and my Dad) have. Replacement batteries work well, the handsets stay charged for days again. Note, these are AAA Ni-MH batteries 750mAH.

Panasonic brand rechargeable batteries. Nuff said. Just buy them.
Necessary to buy Panasonic brand rechargeables? No. Necessary to buy OEM car parts, name brand tools, etc? On a case by case basis, it depends. On the other hand, if you want to be assured of best possible performance backed by manufacturers well known for their engineering prowess, quality control, customer support, trustworthy performance and safety, best to stick with known quantities. I use only Panasonic rechargeables in 'mission critical' equipment, equipment that is often very expensive. I'm aware of other brands that are well reviewed and reportedly reliable but Panasonic batteries (and many other products) have proven to be extremely trustworthy over a very long period of time. I'd say the gold standard. Bottom line: buy with no hesitation. They're worth the extra few bucks if only for the peace of mind.
