Snug Kids Ear Defenders - Noise Cancelling Headphones Protectors for Children, Toddlers and Baby (Space)

I suffer from a number of sound-based problems, including misophonia, sensory issues due to autism, and auditory processing disorder. I first purchased a black pair of these headphones about a month ago, and was so satisfied, I bought another pair in red. I have been extremely satisfied with this product.FUNCTION:They do not cut out sound completely, but rather muffle loud noises and reduce the often painful sensations of them hitting my ears. They cut out most background noise but still enable me to hear what people are saying, and have conversations.DESIGN:Adjustable size that fits most heads, very comfortable with padded sides and headband, and easy to fold away compactly. They look like normal, music-playing headphones, which is a plus for anybody who wants to look discreet, and are not ugly to wear.PROBLEMS:The ends of the faux leather headband covering is tucked into the soft padding underneath, but sometimes the ends come loose and have to be either pushed back in (not an easy task), or remain free (where they are about as irritating as a loose thread or missing button). When not around a head, the cups move back together, which means that the headphones cannot be comfortably stored around one's neck when not being used. If one wants/needs to remove them for a short period of time, they have to be taken off completely. These are both minor issues, especially in comparison to the relief this product has brought me personally.PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:I ordered this product last month after having an episode during an orchestra rehersal due to loud percussion instruments. Since then, I have bought another pair in a different colour and intend to collect all of the colours. Both times, the product has arrived a day early, with both headphones and packaging in good condition. The product has helped reduce the number and severity of my episodes and my general stress levels, and improved my emotional wellbeing and memory (both of which are affected by my medical issues).

Great and cool ear defenders, fit all the family

Another year, another festival and now a two year old daughter who is not a big fan of "noise". Clearly popular with the festival crowds (I saw a couple of dozen of other sets over the weekend), these ear defenders offer a modicum of protection and the vague hope your kid may sleep through whatever noisy post-rock drone you may be witnessing.And they work, at least to some extent, depending on your expectations. Having popped them on my own head, it's clear that they cut down the noise levels, without actually cutting out the sound. I was able to hear people talking with them on, if fairly muffled, and it was clear my daughter could hear me talking, if not particularly clearly. But, in noisy environments, they cut the sound levels down substantially, they offer a close, adjustable fit with a good degree of comfort, and my daughter happily wore them, slept in them and even asked for them if the sound levels got a little high - which is the highest praise I could think to give.So, if you are looking to cut out some level of noise, but are not aiming for silence, these work a treat - and the range of colours means you can choose something that even the pickiest two year old is happy with!

Little one loves them, she has Autism and struggles with noise but also is very sensory and doesn't find alot of things comfortable however she will wear these no problem and the design is very cute. They block the harsh noise well but she can still understand me when i speak. Good value for money, feel durable and work well. Autism and sensory friendly.

Used these for a fireworks event and they were amazing my little one was able to enjoy the show without the loud noises,Great that you can also adjust these so will last a long time,They are also light weight usually my little one doesn’t like stuff on her head but didn’t mind these due to the light weight, got them on offer too which is a bonusHighly recommend for reference my little one is 2.5

We've had several brands of ear defenders for my autistic son, but this particular brand has been the best. Not only does he find them comfortable and help regulate his sensory sensitivities, they also appeal to his interests (star wars) so the space design is perfect!They have lasted us a while as it's difficult to pick at the headband - he has eventually managed to peel the letters and started to unravel the material near the ears, but it has taken him 6 months to do this - normally it's a week with previous brands!Overall we're very pleased with the product and will purchase more in the future 😀
