SoWash Hydrojet - Oral Irrigator Water Jet Flosser, Made in Italy

Needs an adjuster at the faucet. It works, but you have to adjust the water pressure using the faucet, which makes it less convenient to use. I bought another model with a faucet mounted adjuster.

My dentist has been after me for a couple of years to use a water-pick. I've tried the WaterPik in the past and didn't like it that much. You have 45 seconds to finish your business and they are big and clunky.This little guy hooks right to the faucet. You get an adapter that is a quick-connect with the unit. It fits standard faucets with either male or female threads. The squirt is steady like you get at the dentist's office, not the pulsing thing with WaterPik. So far, I'm really happy with it and use it a couple of times a day. We'll see if the dentist is happy with me next time around.

Too small to hang on to.

I bought this oral irrigator about 2 years ago. It worked great for about a year then the pressure dropped. I was able to restore pressure by soaking the faucet adaptor in vinegar. I found that some of the chrome on the adaptor had corroded, but it still worked OK. Not sure why the faucet adaptor got such bad mineral build-up because we have soft water in our house. Anyway, the pressure has dropped again in the device and vinegar soaks did not restore it. I think there is a mineral fragment stuck in the tubing and I can't get it to dissolve. Oh well. Not sure if I'll buy another one or not. $29.95 for a plastic device that lasted for not quite 2 years? I think I might be able to do better.

works on different size facet since it came with 2 adapters. No need to charge it up or plug it in the wall.
