Each board tells a story with its dents and scars, yet the wood is protected with several coats of a tough water-based polyurethane to make the table top smooth to the touch while standing up well to moisture. TABLE TOP - ***THREE STYLE OPTIONS****Traditional Trimmed Edges* The stacked wood on this tabletop is finished off with trim pieces around all four sides. A more classic look that coordinates with several Reclaimed Swag stools and end tables. *Stacked and Bolted* After being glued, screwed & nailed together the boards lay on their side, exposing each reclaimed piece of wood that is now part of a strong useful table. Two stainless steel bolts & washers, countersunk to be flush and out of your way, highlight two sides of the table. *Stacked Wood with No Bolts*If you like the reclaimed look with a little less industrial edge, the table top can be made with no exposed bolts. Hand crafted from the same stacked wood with exposed end grain, but without the bolts. TABLE BASE The brawny steel base was made to hold a grinder and has removable rubber feet. A metal shelf is included between the table legs. Use it to store extra napkins, a bottle of wine or a deck of cards.
