These Hanes Signature X-temp cushioned crew socks are quite comfortable. They have good padding on the bottom of the foot and around the heel and toe. They have arch support to keep them in place and not twisting.They are a medium weight. The X-Temp feature is “designed to adapt to body temperature for all day comfort.” They also claim to be moisture wicking and have odor control.The fibers are partially recycled. The fiber content varies by color, the white and black being 64% cotton, 34% polyester and 2% spandex. The gray are 57% cotton, 40% polyester and 3% spandex. The washing instructions are machine wash cold, dry medium heat.I have these in the size for shoe size 5-9. I wear a size 7. I think they are a little big for a 5. The length is okay for me, a little loose but not bad, but they are a bit wide in the toe. However, the top cuff area might be a bit tight if you have chubby legs.I especially appreciate that the Hanes logo is on the bottom and in pink and small letters. I am a bit tired of companies slapping their logos in huge sizes where they show, so it’s nice that Hanes has not gone all “in your face” with their logo.I would expect these to be really good socks for my long walks in spring, summer and fall and they would also work with many boots.

I like that these are a cotton blend sock. They fit well they’re a little bit tight at the top, and I do not have large ankles or calves. I think these are decent, they are pretty thin though for a standard sock style. They advertised it has a full cushion sole, which I don’t think is true and that’s why am giving it four stars instead of five. For example the brand Galiva has a cushion sole that’s at least two times thicker. In my experience a thicker cushion soul helps alleviate foot fatigue for me since I work standing up all day and walking around. Rating 4 stars = Like It.

These aren't fancy socks or ones that will last a lifetime, nor are they meant to be. They are quite basic socks---crew length, solid colors, cotton/poly blend. I wouldn't say they are ultra soft, as the description says, but they are indeed soft enough, and they fit pretty well---perhaps a little smaller than some socks, but they stay on. They hold up pretty well to washing and drying.The best thing about these are the price. It's very rare to be able to get 6 socks for ten dollars these days, to say nothing of fairly good socks. If you are like me and constantly lose socks, you want value, and this set delivers!

These socks are a little thicker and tougher looking than I was expecting. They look like a teenage boy's gym socks rather than socks for women. They are also very tight and almost feel like compression socks. I have skinny ankles and calves and the socks leave marks on my skin. But despite being tight they are comfortable. There is a lot of cushion on the heels and toes, and it is snug around the arch of my foot which give the arch area some support. So these socks are good for the gym, hiking, or when wearing boots.

I mistakenly thought this would be closer weight to athletic socks than dress socks. Not so. These are definitely on the thinner side, and an awkward weight where they are a bit too heavy to wear as casual socks to work and too thin to really use to work out in. Not sure what these socks were designed for, but they really are impractical.

These aren't my favorite. Personal preference, but they're a little too thick for my liking.

The product photo looked like these would be nice looking women's socks, but they're kind of beefy and not especially feminine. My wife can still use these when she wears taller boots, but they aren't what she typically picks out when she wants nice socks.
